This place is a gem. We order from here every week. The chicken nuggets are addicting, and the general tso is soo good. We also love the bbq ribs and the lo mein!

Would go again. I had the chicken teriyaki with white rice and spring rolls. I thought I would leave something for tomorrow’s lunch but ate it all because it was really good. I specifically loved the spring rolls because they were bigger than usual. It also came with a sauce that was sweet. Cool vegan/vegetarian spot in the area

The owner has some of the best customer service in not just Brooklyn, but all of NYC.
Great local vegan Chinese restaurant with legitimately phenomenal prices(the lunch special is old school pricing).
I have a lot of allergies so I get things made to specification there, and she is always happy to do so, no worries.

Be careful, they don't know for sure if their products are gluten free or not . I had to find out the hard way, had stomach cramps and excess allergic reaction after eating from there, despite letting them know I need strictly gluten free
Honestly this has to be the BEST vegan food I’ve ever had. Seriously, everything is perfectly seasoned, super fresh. My go to vegan spot without a doubt. I tried the chicken nuggets which are to die for, the chicken and beef yakisoba noodles and the soy protein. everything is delicious. 😊

Stopped here for dinner before attending a show and the food was delicious. Had the Mango Soy Protein and Tom Yum soup while my girlfriend had the chicken sandwich and roasted pumpkin. Portion sizes were big and food was fresh and flavorful. Great family owned restaurant. If you are in the mood for vegan food it's highly recommended.

Difficult review to write.
- the vegetarian chicken was one of the best I've ever eaten. Amazing.
- the scallion pancakes were twice the size and twice the thickness that they usually are and mostly tasted like dense dough. We couldn't eat them.
- the mapu tofu... We gave up immediately. It mostly tastes just sour (the sauce), the tofu pieces have not retained any of the sauce so they are just bland, and there are some sorry looking peas and carrots (???) floating around.
-Portiton sizes are very big, so the two of us shared that portion and threw away the rest :-(
If we order from here again it will ONLY be the one of the chicken dishes...

Saw a review saying they had large portion and they were not lying. The picture I attached is all seitan except a few pieces for broccoli. Could’ve easy fed 3-4 people.
Great place for vegan options. Will definitely be coming back!
Edit: went here again twice more. Their fried chicken is really good. This will be my go to spot for vegan fast food as long as I’m the area!

I was here with my wife and we both enjoyed it a lot.
Tried General Tso’s chicken, boneless ribs, and a dumpling soup.
The food was really good, the place feels cozy, and the hostess was super kind and welcoming.

If you’re looking for fresh, flavorful food and a welcoming atmosphere, Lotus Restaurant is a must-visit. Every dish I’ve tried here speaks to the care and quality that goes into their ingredients, nothing ever tastes pre-made or bland.
My personal favorites? The veggie rolls and the seitan teriyaki chicken. The veggie rolls are crisp, light, and packed with perfectly fresh vegetables and the seitan teriyaki chicken is flavorful and tender. Just absolutely delicious!
Plus, the staff is always friendly and attentive, and the overall vibe of the restaurant is relaxed but refined. Give Lotus a try. You won’t be disappointed!

I would never get from here again the food was very tasteless and dry and unbeatable. If you wanna be disappointed order the GENERAL T SO taste like fried paper literally no sauce no veggies really bad and the lo mein OMGGG I can’t mad watery!! The best vegan place is zen vegetarian large portions and tasty. Here they have half size plastic containers so you’re getting half the amount by default because of the bowl used lol crazy I’m good on that!! How I add a picture it’s not showing the option smh I want yall to see what I ordered for $50
I will definitely be coming back here, they had a very large menu selection and I got the yakisoba noodle with vegetables & tofu, and a smoothie with banana, blueberry, strawberry & peanut butter. The price was very affordable, and the portion size was generous, I was shocked that I ate nearly the entire thing in one sitting, but the flavors were so good!
If you’re in the area, it’s definitely worth stopping by, and the food was ready quickly
