Very cute space, lovely for a morning beverage and bacon egg and cheese. Or for later in the day drinks/romantic little wine moment. Super cute and right on McGolrick park.

I celebrated my 30th birthday here and I can't recommend this place enough!!!! The food, ambience, customer service, drinks, everything 10/10. Truly the best place to enjoy and hang out.

We had our baby shower private event here and everything from the service to the food was amazing. The coordination and planning was an easy process and they were very accommodating. Highly recommend doing an event here!

This restaurant is truly one of those gems that you secretly don’t want to share, but know they deserve the shout out! Cozy atmosphere, excellent service, superb menu curated and prepared by a talented and passionate chef! Brooklyn at its Brooklyn best! A must try kind of place!

This place is literally the best gem in North Brooklyn. I’ve lived in Greenpoint for 10 years and have never found a restaurant / cafe that has made me feel like if I moved away, my quality of life would be negatively impacted…. until Lovebirds.

On multiple occasions I’ve found myself working from the cafe / lunching during the day, then finding a reason to come back in the evening for the amazing pasta & fun wine events. It’s the best of both worlds, a cozy classic coffee spot until about 5pm, then it magically turns into a sceney restaurant packed out with trendy New Yorkers clinking glasses and gushing over Michelin guide-quality food.
Also, this is one of only 2 restaurants with outdoor seating actually on Mcgoldrick Park (another North Brooklyn hidden gem). It’s so pleasant to feel like you’re sitting in a forest but are still only a short stroll from the G train.

Finally, the staff here is amazing, and are a big part of what makes this place feel so special. I even held my most recent birthday celebration here and it was such an enjoyable event that I am considering making it an annual tradition.

Lovebirds is simply a quality spot that we’re lucky to have in the neighborhood.

Chill spot for a bite or a drink by the park. Perfect place to go whether you need a break from taking the kids to the park, or just want to meet near a bike station.

Good coffee, food is decent, and brunch was reasonably priced. I’d visit again!

To be honest I was hesitant at first to try out a new place such as this. I love coffee but do not drink alcohol so wasn’t sure this would be an ideal fit for my needs. I was wrong. Lovebirds is my new go to place for my afternoon coffee/tea. The atmosphere (and location) are ideal. Very excited for the new outdoor seating! The selection of non alcoholic drinks is actually quite impressive as well. I can go there with my wine drinking friends and not feel left out of the experience.

The staff are friendly and cool (but not overbearing like at some places). Prices are fair. What else can I say? Just go there and see for yourself. The place is a welcome addition to the neighborhood

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Lovebirds in Brooklyn, and from start to finish, the experience was nothing short of fantastic.

The meal began with a few shared plates: the wild mushroom cavatelli, cavatelli fra diavolo, and the Black Sea bass. All three dishes were absolutely delicious, but the wild mushroom cavatelli truly stole the show for me — rich, earthy, and perfectly balanced. The fra diavolo had just the right amount of kick, and the sea bass was beautifully cooked, flaky and flavorful.

To accompany the meal, I enjoyed several glasses of wine, and I have to say, their wine selection was phenomenal — thoughtful, well-curated, and perfectly paired with the food.

We ended the night with their poppyseed cheesecake, which was a unique and delightful twist on a classic dessert — the perfect sweet note to close out the evening.

The ambiance at Lovebirds was also a standout — fun, lively, and full of great energy. It struck a perfect balance between being vibrant without feeling chaotic.

Overall, it was a memorable night of amazing food, great wine, and a fantastic atmosphere. I can’t wait to go back. Highly recommend!

Popped in on a random Tuesday for a cocktail and ended up staying for dinner and a couple glasses of wine. The bartender was super friendly and really knew their stuff about wine. This place would be a great place to just relax or bring a date. Definitely going to go back because the smell of the coffee might make this place a solid way to start the day.

In love with Lovebirds! The brunch is phenomenal…every dish is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Their cocktails are creative and perfectly balanced, and the coffee is fantastic. I’m still thinking about the vanilla rose latte. The service is warm and attentive without being overbearing, and the cozy, stylish atmosphere makes it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a slow weekend morning. Seriously the dreamiest cafe lighting too. Can’t wait to come back!

Lovebirds is an absolute gem in Greenpoint - incredible wine, delicious food, and the kindest, knowledgable, and most accommodating staff in the coziest space. My friends and I had the best time celebrating my birthday here, and they are still talking about the lemon poppyseed cheesecake! James, Les, and team are the absolute best. Can't wait for our next visit!
