Lucia's is fine, but l've still had better. The prices at their Bklyn location were pretty standard for the area. Their online menus don't include tax, FYI. I really liked the addition of the basil leaves on top of their pies for a fresh taste! The Margherita Pie was good, but could've used more garlic. The Pepperoni slice was tasty, as the oil from the pepperoni helped with the drier bread. Highly recommend the Salsiccia pie - the spiciness wasn't overpowering and the ricotta + sausage was so good!! **TIP: Add hot honey on your slice for another layer of yumminess! Small portion of salad - do not recommend. The pasta is nothing special for the price.

Update: ordered a delivery today. Got cold old pizza with dry dead basil and they gave Schweppes as soda. Like you can't choose what kind of soda you want they assume Schweppes is OK

Vegetarian options: I ordered for a party where there were six vegetarians in a group of twelve. Nathan who took my order and everyone I spoke to was extremely responsive and helpful. The food was delivered on time by a very helpful young man and it was hot and ready for the table. Best of all IT WAS DELICIOUS

Worst pizza I ever had. Went there on a Friday night. They put 2 teaspoons of sauce and sprinkle some a minimal amount of cheese on pizza dough. It wasn’t worth the calories and very expensive. Throwing some basil on the slices when putting it in the pizza box…does not church up the flavor or appearance. Zero stars
The special Friday clam slice is a must, the workers were very friendly

nice slice of pizza saturday shrimp pizza special. Good shrimp but fishy, and the vodka slice was different and the sauce was deelish. Crispy crust and bottom was thin and the cheese pull packs it all. Almost $16 for two slices and a pure tea bev! Worth a date eating inside tho.

I've had nothing but good experiences at Lucia of Avenue X. I ordered a plain cheese pie that hit the truly hit the spot, but I've tried a lot of the different options they have, and you can tell they use quality ingredients in everything. Really nice staff, and I've never waited very long to get food, which is great when considering other unnecessarily hyped tourist traps that take forever to get a pie or couple of slices only to find that they end up being pretty mediocre. This is definitely one of the places to go to for really good pizza🙏
Pizza is a 4.5 - 5/10 . Nothing special . Good looking pizza that lacks in the amount of sauce and cheese . And even then , the sauce is just okay and cheese okay quality . Small establishment , would have given 2 stars, but I assume, the white , baldish 40s men , who are the owners , have good , enthusiastic personalities . Its as if the place could be on fire , and they could smile and say , watch your step . The only things keeping this place running is the charisma of the european people and I assume the , reputation , it runs on . I heard it was top 25 on the new york times . For me , I would have gussed top 250 in new york city. I dropped my phone here and one of the customers told me , which is great. The people who visit her are not low class, compared to most pizza establishments . There is a certain (+) when it comes to rating this pizza place . So this place is a 3 star plus a (+) which would make it higher than 3 , but lower than 4.
