Served drinks in a line, kind of strange. Overall, a fun bar.

Strolled into this place randomly and it didn’t disappoint. If you like throwbacks and a chill vibe come here. Bartenders are all fun and friendly, dj keeps the fun going with good tunes. Great spot!

Love this place. The space is comfortable and they have a lovely backyard with a beautiful mural. They are super Dog friendly. Happy hour starts early and they have good prices. The drinks are good and the beer is cold. They also have pinball and shuffleboard. Music is good, just the right volume and leans towards rock or mellow punk, somewhere along those lines. Joel was an amazing Bartender. I will definitely be back.

Lucky Dog in Williamsburg is a quintessential Brooklyn dive bar with an unbeatable vibe. The cozy, unpretentious atmosphere makes it a favorite for locals and visitors alike. What really sets this spot apart is its dog-friendly policy—yes, you can sip your beer while your furry friend enjoys the scene with you!

The backyard is a hidden gem, offering a chill space to hang out with friends (human or canine) while soaking in the casual Brooklyn charm. The beer selection is solid, with plenty of affordable options, and the bartenders are friendly and laid-back, adding to the welcoming vibe.

Lucky Dog is the kind of place where you can unwind, meet new people, and just enjoy the simplicity of a great bar done right. Whether you're coming for the drinks, the dogs, or the backyard, you won’t be disappointed. 🐶🍺

I rarely write reviews but had to share. We were regulars here. Last time we went, the bartender approached us and awkwardly confronted us for not ordering drinks within the first 5 minutes, despite the bar being nearly empty. Making your regulars feel uncomfortable and transactional - (at a place that pretends to be chill and welcoming) - is sad and desperate. Sorry to see this place go downhill like that.

WARNING! You must buy a drink as soon as you enter or you will be asked to leave! You cannot wait for friends to join you. You cannot wait to see if your dog will get along with the other dogs. You cannot get caught up and play a game of shuffle board. You will be asked to leave. Unfortunately, my dog really enjoyed going, she will miss her times there but will not give this bar my money to be hassled by rude a bartenders with nasty manners.

Terrible service, the bartender was incredibly rude with us. A few dogs visited, and they were very cute, but the bartending service absolutely made me want to not return again.

Used to be good, now the bald LGBTQ+ bartender is rude to any straight male that comes in and I have been coming for 13 years and live in the neighborhood and he immediately is grilling me about drinking water when I just arrived (he did the same last week when I asked for wifi after ordering and tipping well). Just another tourist trap in Queer Williamsburg.
