Drove over an hour and was well worth the trip. The owner, Gio could not have been more gracious and generous. Gave us a grandmas and Sicilian slice on the house while we waited and talked about old school values, family and life. Total gentleman and the pizza was 10 out of 10.

The pizza hear is good and everything don't get me wrong! The only thing is that it's too crunchy for me, took the flavor away I'm that type of person who likes the pizza juicy, instead of very crunchy, which made me a little disappointed about coming to this place since I heard it was the best pizza in NY, has a lot of hype too it. Overrated
If you're the type of person who likes crunchy pizza you should try it out!
If you're the type of person who likes juicy pizza, I don't really recommend this place since the pizza is very crunchy and if you're looking for a pizza place that has very juicy pizza I'll have to recommend L&B Spumoni Gardens!

I just want to say THANK YOU. I walked into Luigi's for the first time at about 430pm and ordered a Grandma Pie and Deep Fried Calzone to go. Unfortunately i was informed by the staff that Calzones were sold out and i was asked if i wanted something else. When i said no thanks and that i really wanted to try the Deep Fried Calzone, the Owner, who was busy making a pie, turned to me and asked if i could wait 20 mins...i said sure, no problem. As i waited i watched the Owner make my Grandma Pie, and when he finished with that to my suprise i watched as he made my Calzone. To close out this comment, i will say that both the Grandma Pie and Calzone were 2nd to none. THANK YOU!

Made a 3+ hour drive specifically to Luigis for my first ever true NY Style Slice. This place was awesome, it was nostalgic and welcoming. Talking to Gio was awesome, he knows pizza and has true passion for what he does day in and day out. The pizza was amazing, Gio says the sauce is where its at and I would agree. Theres plenty of sauce with just the right amount of cheese on a well fermented and crispy crust. The fresh mozzarella slice with the basil/oil drizzle was awesome as well. I had a nice conversation with Gio about Pizza and he was very Hospitable. I wish them the best and would recommend Luigis to everyone! They have a new dining room next door as well. 10/10
