Don’t be fooled by the fact that it’s a hole in the wall - the funnel cake here is awesome! I ate it too fast to take a photo but it’s huge, freshly made, with lots of powdered sugar. Avoid the place down the block past Nathan’s that sells seafood - they just reheat their funnel cakes and they’re tiny

I had my first experience trying fried oreos here, and I was surprised at how awesome they were. They are made to order right in front of you, and when you take your first bite, they had a slight crisp on the outside, and the inside was super soft and delicious. You get four for $7, which isn't too bad. The prices overall here are pretty reasonable, even though they only sell ice cream, funnel cakes, fried oreos, cotton candy, candy apples, and popcorn. The staff is very helpful and the store is small and very clean. I will definitely stop in again to get more fried oreos, and I have to try the funnel cake that everyone is raving about.

5 stars for their FUNNEL CAKE! Fresh, made to order. Agree with many other reviewers that Lunatics’ funnel cake is rave worthy and best we’ve had in Coney Island. Proper amount of crispness on the outside, while fluffy on the inside. Also priced a couple dollars less than other funnel cakes on the Boardwalk. (Buyer beware… some of the other Boardwalk establishments sell pre-made, frozen funnel cakes that they just re-fry. ?)Also tried a caramel apple here… was just ok. We’ll be back for more funnel cake and will try ice cream next time!

first of all, their boba is disgusting. it doesn’t even taste like how it would from an authentic boba tea shop, it has this weird after taste when you bite into it. like is it expired or what? lol. also, they definitely scammed my friend and charged her $90 dollars when nothing in there can dare TOUCH $90 worth. they need to reevaluate themselves and focus on what they doing cuz how you charge her that much when what she ordered shouldn’t even be passing $25 max?
