Ordered the soup dumplings, spicy wontons with peanut sauce, and fried seafood dumplings on a Sunday evening. All three tasted stale. The food was not fresh, even the oil used to fry the seafood dumplings tasted old. Will not be ordering from here again.

Consistently good food. Such warm service by the two (female and male) employees that work there. Fair pricing. Never a wait. Not too “hyped”. Just an overall pleasant experience that is hard to come by in the media driven food industry of New York these days. I love this

Favorite Chinese food I've had in NYC bar none. pork soup dumplings (they call the "juicy") are mega, Awesome Beef is appropriately named, and the cold peanut noodles are delicious. Vibe is just right, feels like a family run restaurant which I'm pretty sure it is! 10/10 would recommend.

To say the food was mediocre would be an overstatement. You can get better food for half the price at a local take out spot. This is NYC with some of the best Chinese spots. How is this place even open? Servers were sweet though.

M Shanghai is one of the best in NYC/williamsburg neighborhood. Their pork soup dumplings are amazing as well as the rest of the menu!

Cute cute restaurant. Reminds me of being in an old chinese mob crime thriller. Super vibey playing great 90s classics. Food was awesome, shout out the pea leaves with rice. Delicious! The bartender Atilla made me an AMAZING blueberry gin cocktail. I asked for something with blueberry and he was able to accommodate me with one of the best cocktails i’ve had. 10/10

One of my favorite dumpling spots in New York. To the point that my fiancé and I had our post engagement party in the back room. We felt like the staff was part of our celebration as family.

This is a fantastic chinese food restaurant. I have bought several people here and none of them have had a bad meal. The service is always friendly and the decor of the place is cozy and it is set up with long tables so you can eat family style. I recommend the Pork spicy wonton, The Juicy Soup Dumplings. The house special Lo-Mien, the Kung Pow Chicken, and The Awesome Beef.
