This place has been shut down by the health department on November 18th,2024. Tried to go there today. Shuttered with a sign from the health department.

The guy who owns this place is disgusting and extremely disrespectful. A friend of mine lives upstairs and the owner spits at him and calls him homophobic slurs when my friend goes outside for a cigarette. I believe he lives in the basement and i am unsure if he showers. The macaroons are also moldy. Do not give this man any business, he does not deserve it.
Edit: this review is old and he still spits at me every time he sees me. I have done nothing to him.
my favorite from here is the crab avocado toast, very fresh.

The macrons were a little stale. The owner has his dirty feet all over the table everyday. The food is expensive for what you’re getting. The owner is very rude and disrespectful and spat at my dog because he thought she peed on his outdoor ornament. Support black business but this isn’t a great one.

Love this place! Was coming here a lot over the summer. I would have the Paris every day and my boyfriend would have the bacon egg and cheese. Owner puts a lot of effort into each sandwich and it’s always SO good. Really missing this place since we moved away. Definitely recommend! Place looks very quaint but quality is always great!

Delicious! Ordered the Paris sandwich and it was amazing. Bread is so good, flavors are all so yummy and the service is great :) will definitely be coming back. Can’t wait to try the Normandy sandwich!

I placed an order on UBER Eats. two(2) eggs, home fries and side of toast. The order was delivered w/out the home fries so i called the rest., thinking this was not that big of an issue. The person who answered the line in the rest was extremely RUDE and stated "well that's not the order I rec'd" and if u wanted home fries that's an extra cost. Excuse me, but there is no where on the Uber site for additional cost and since there may have been a mistake by UBER - he s/h just honored the order and had the home fries delivered. He then proceeded to tell me that I did not order toast and rec'd a croissant -HUH? what does that have to do w/my inquiry? the eggs i ordered were sunny side up when I ordered over med. In short, if he handled this mistake in a very diff. way I would not post about this mistake. this rest. customer service really needs a lot of training. It's unfortunate as i live in the area and really wanted to support this rest. WILL NOT BE DOING THAT ANY MORE! Also, the order is STILL CURRENTLY ON Uber eats w/out requesting addt'l charge for the home fries! GO FIGURE! UBER gave me a credit and handled this mishap in a very professional manner. NOT THE REST.

Ordered from Uber eats and most of my order was missing, very disappointed and when calling to complain a man said “oh well I’m not sure how far you are from here “. One day later the owner writes to me saying he went above and beyond and that this was not the first time I ordered and asked for more bacon. I don’t even live in Brooklyn I was visiting a family member and happened to stumble upon this place. First time customer. How shameful that he wants to cover himself by playing victim.
