This has become our favorite pizzeria in our neighborhood, if not our favorite restaurant! The restaurant itself is small and unassuming (make a reservation on Fri or Sat nights!). But the pizza itself is delicious - our favorites are the eggplant and the mushroom. The apps are also great, especially the Macoletta salad and the shishito peppers. My partner's son, who is 8, loves the pepperoni pie. But hands down the best part of Macoletta is the staff, especially Emek! Emek is so kind, personable, and generous especially to our 8 year old. If this pizza wasn't delicious (which thank goodness it is), we'd still come back for Emek and the rest of the staff! Everyone needs to come here!!

Emek was an amazing server & had great energy. Handling more than one table at a time. He had a demanding client next to us and he kept his cool while making sure we were accommodated. The food was exactly what we needed after a day of walking around Brooklyn. Try the Diablo & cold Peroni followed by a Canoli! They also have a location by me in Astoria which I suggest if closer than bk.

Macoletta is by far the best in Williamsburg. The service is top notch the food is incredible. And the server Emek is so kind and able to multitask professionally. The restaurant is beautiful and the food is some of the best I’ve had in the entire county. And I eat a lot of food around here. Go here. You will not regret it
