This has become our favorite pizzeria in our neighborhood, if not our favorite restaurant! The restaurant itself is small and unassuming (make a reservation on Fri or Sat nights!). But the pizza itself is delicious - our favorites are the eggplant and the mushroom. The apps are also great, especially the Macoletta salad and the shishito peppers. My partner's son, who is 8, loves the pepperoni pie. But hands down the best part of Macoletta is the staff, especially Emek! Emek...

Emek was an amazing server & had great energy. Handling more than one table at a time. He had a demanding client next to us and he kept his cool while making sure we were accommodated. The food was exactly what we needed after a day of walking around Brooklyn. Try the Diablo & cold Peroni followed by a Canoli! They also have a location by me in Astoria which I suggest if closer than bk.

Best way to describe this place is, you can tell they take pride in their food. Our waiter made sure to inform us of all details of the process and did not disappoint in his recommendations.
