The savory and sweet crepes I ordered were simple in concept, but they tasted great. You can tell a lot of care went into each component. The crepe base had enough crisp, while its center was light and airy. It had a nourishing buckwheat taste. I'm not in a rush to go back, but I'm grateful for this solid neighborhood spot.

feels like home from the second you walk in. its kind of a skit- one man is the whole business. He is the host, chef, and server- AND HE IS GOOD AT IT!!! amazing service super on top of his tables all while making the orders he puts in. Delicious fresh ingredients all imported from france. Super knowledgable and kind, he picked up on my boyfriends french belgian accent and insisted on us trying a "true french crepe" dessert on the house! mind you this whole conversation was happening as his restaurant was completely full and all his costumers were well attended. SO TO WHOEVER SAY MEN CANT MULTI TASK please come see this man in action. This is not the type of place you go to because youre in the area- instead its the type of place you GO TO THE AREA for! amazing 1000/10.

Omg. Best crepes ever! I love both the sweet and savory crepes. They're not too sweet and perfectly balanced. The owner is so kind and welcoming. You may have to wait a while for the food to come out but it's totally worth it.

Madame Poupon is a really legit French Crepes Place that you cannot find in NYC.You will find all classics from French Crêperies (name of Crepes Place in France).Hakim the server is very friendly and Chris the owner and cook coming from Brest in Brittany which means that he knows what he's doing with The Real Recipes from France.Prices are really affordable and crepes are big.I highly recommend it if you want to taste a piece of French Culture and Gastronomy here in NYC!

This review is a long time coming. I had the best crepes in my life years ago at a stand on St. Mark's. Then the stand vanished without a trace. Craving crepes one day, I found this creperie in my neighborhood. After one bite, I told the chef that there was only one other place I had crepes like this. Years before on St. Mark's. He smiled and said that was his place. "Welcome back." Now, he has a brick and mortar. You all have to go. This man, Jean-Christophe, puts so much care into everything he cooks (ask about the specials). Everything is exceptional. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and he always has the kindest people working there. The last time I went, Neeha (sorry if I misspelled your name), was very attentive and super friendly. Okay, this review's getting too long. Just go!

One of the coziest spots to have a meal in NYC ? Warm interior, super filling crepes, and friendly hospitality.Lots of french-speakers in the house during sunday brunch so you know it’s legit :)

The service was really good and so was the atmosphere and music but the blueberry crepe was really bad.

Some of the best food that has ever graced my palate! Perfect balance of textures - the crispy crepe outside melded beautifully with its soft buttery inside. The flavors were strong and worked together harmoniously in both the sweet and savory crepes. The chef couldn't have been more kind and took good care of a busy restaurant working by himself. A one man show of brilliance! Will be going back and taking everyone I know.

This place is the real deal and is easily worth 5 stars. The chef does everything which is an impressive feat for operating one of New York's most popular restaurants. When I came here he cooked the food and waited on all the tables. Despite this the quality of the food and of the service did was not compromised one bit. Everyone around me were having foodgasms when they bit into anything this chef cooked up infringe of everyone. Congratulations Madame Poupon and to the chef for such an outstanding achievement.

Best crepes I’ve had. No argument. The thin yet flavorful crepe melts in the mouth. You can’t go wrong with any sweet or savory options. And the chef and service were so nice! Coming back as soon as I can.

Literally the best crepes I’ve had in NYC! We had the ham complete, the blueberry sweet crepe and the owner brought out some simple butter & honey samples to finish. All were delicious and the owner was so nice! Definitely come thru!

An hour long wait for a crepe? Don’t think anyone wants that honestly. It was tasty, but when it finally arrived it had been made with the wrong ingredients. The waiter gave me a wink and said he’d make up for it next time I went, which left a somewhat bitter taste in my mouth. Not the kind of apology I’d expected.

We got the ham complete and bacon complete. The ham is the original and is savory. Overall I like the bacon because it is saltier and has good black pepper on it. The buckwheat crepe was a nice crispiness to it. Filling as well. The owner and waiter were great! Quality place
