I chose to celebrate my birthday here and was very happy I did. The music and lighting were on the point. Oysters were a must for my celebration and they dod not disappoint. The best thing we ate was the scallop crudo! Will definitely go back.

I’ve always loved coming here but lately the interaction I have had with the male manager just puts me off. His mannerism is very different depending on who he’s talking to. He absolutely do not treat every customer with the same kind of respect and welcome as he should.

Disgusting behavior and very disappointing.

A very cozy and beautiful restaurant. Their restrooms are unique as it portrays the old times. We ordered the crab cake which was a little salty but the flavor was good. Their Chef’s Choice Oysters were all good and fresh! The seaweed butter along with the bread was a perfect and unique match. The lobster roll had the right amount of saltiness and was very fresh. The lamb was tender and had the perfect seasoning and sauce. Their drinks are a must try. If you like ginger and mint, try the Goodnight Moon.

Enjoy stopping by this absinthe bar when in NYC. Tonight we stopped in after a dinner out to enjoy a cocktail and dessert. Tonight I tried my first ever Hot Toddy and to say I’m a fan does not do it justice. Delicious. For dessert we tried the ice cream-3 flavors (olive oil, fig and cardamom if I remember correctly) and Madelines. Food and drinks were very good, service was off tonight but they made up for it.

gorgeous restaurant very beautiful. but the oyster was bad and the mussels were really not good. the staff took the mussels off of the bill. but this is the first time in four years of eating oysters and mussels regularly where they tasted straight up like a period. thanks for taking off the mussels

I have travelled the world extensively over 40 years. I ate at all restaurants ranging from pop & mom’s to Michelin three stars. This is my honest review of the restaurant Maison Premiere in Williamsburg, NYC, USA.

An outstanding seafood restaurant in the heart of Williamsburg — a true hidden gem! The entrance has a bit of a speakeasy vibe — there’s a small sign, but you need to look carefully to find it, and you enter through swinging saloon-style doors, which immediately set the mood. Inside, you’re transported to another decade: a beautiful oval bar, dim, jazzy lighting, and tables set close together, creating a lively and intimate atmosphere.

Service was excellent — efficient and knowledgeable. We tried a selection of four different oysters, all fresh and unique, perfectly recommended by our waiter. The crab cake was outstanding — crispy on the outside, soft and flavorful inside, served with a great spicy sauce. We also had mussels and a salad, both well prepared, and ended with warm madeleines that were absolutely melt-in-your-mouth delicious.

Overall, an exceptional dining experience — elegant yet unpretentious, full of character and flavor. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a memorable seafood dinner in Williamsburg!

Up there with the best restaurant experiences I've ever had. The drinks were explained with passion and poured with care, every single dish was delicately prepared and bursting with flavor, and the dark, old-world vibe was immaculate. The perfect place to wile away an evening drinking and munching. Special thanks to Carling and Dustin for their exemplary service and energy. 10/10
