I stumbled upon Akimori by chance, and I’m so glad I did! This spot is a true hidden gem. The omakase is out of this world—the fish is the freshest I’ve had in a long time, and every bite is perfectly crafted. It’s hands down the best meal I’ve had in years.
The people here make it even better. The staff is so welcoming and genuinely passionate, which adds to the whole experience. I work nearby, and now I can’t wait to come back often. Akimori feels like my new favorite go-to spot, and I couldn’t recommend it more!

I booked a last-minute reservation and got lucky enough to get a bar experience Omakase style. I ordered the Japanese Manhattan cocktail. It was delicious and pared with the sushi very well. I ordered the 15 piece Omakase and that was extremely filling enough because it comes with one appetizer 11 pieces of Nigiri a hand roll and dessert, but I did splurge and order three appetizers to try and the soup and it was phenomenal. Highly recommend the fish here is absolutely buttery and fresh. Melts in your mouth.
