Great food and great service. I’ve become a regular here! The food comes out fast, from my experience, I’ve gotten my food as soon as 7 minutes after I order.

I’ve brought my friends here and they love it as well.

I come here every week with my friends. The Malatang soup base is very delicious and I really like their spicy and sour hoof flowers.

Every time I come here I order noodles with mushroom and beef sauce. It tastes very good and the portion is enough for me. I plan to try this spicy hotpot next time.

The first time I took it, I had a stomachache at night. I didn’t take it seriously. I thought I might have caught a cold. The second time I took it yesterday, I immediately had diarrhea after eating it. I had diarrhea all night. I still had diarrhea this morning... I won’t eat it again.

Malatang is very delicious, large portion and filling

(It took me a long time to finish eating 1/4🥲 It was a bit too much. It is not recommended for people with small appetites to eat alone❗️❗️ as you won’t be able to finish it)

I ordered the tomato-flavored pot base, and my main dish was rice, but he also gave me an extra portion of rice noodles. As a result, all the soup was absorbed, and there was no trace of soup on the surface.

Because rice noodles absorb too much water, rice noodles take up a lot of space.

In the store, if you collect nine chapters, you can get a free Malatang. My friends and I think it is delicious and we often go there to eat it. Later, when we went to redeem Malatang, two shop assistants (one without bangs and a ponytail who seemed to be the boss lady) kept looking at us and loudly commented on us, such as "you have to work so hard to eat so much", which was really rude. . 😅It’s really puzzling that the store has been open for such a long time and can’t afford to give away two bowls of Malatang. Or is it an activity of my own?

It’s ok but they should upgrade the menu. They don’t have much on their menu. Came back so many times i eat the same thing every single time i come back. Gave us free appetizers because me and my friend ordered a lot of food last time. They don’t always give free appetizers unless you order like a lot of food off of them. The place is ok but their prices are high and food isn’t that great. They’re not as busy as the map say they are. The waiters here are ok but they asked for tips last time I payed with card and when I didn’t give them tips they got mad at me and gave me an eye roll.

I order take out multiple times and I’ve seen bugs in my food at least 3 times. Will not be ordering from here ever again. Staff should start prepping food healthier and cleaner smh

They offer a 10% discount for students, and if you purchase any of the $13.99 noodles, you can get Thai iced tea for just a $1.

I recently visited Mala Town with my girlfriend, and unfortunately, our experience was quite uncomfortable. From the moment we sat down, our server was behaving inappropriately and made the entire meal awkward. He was overly touchy, leaning in too close, and making comments that came off as weird and inappropriate towards my girlfriend.

We both felt uncomfortable throughout the meal, and it completely ruined what should have been a nice night out. I understand that servers try to be friendly, but this was way over the line. Respecting customers' personal space is basic etiquette, and this experience left us feeling uneasy.

It's a shame because the food was decent, but the unprofessional behavior from the server overshadowed everything else. We won’t be returning, and I hope the management addresses this kind of behavior to ensure other customers don't have the same unpleasant experience.

Delicious noodles, especially the malatangs for what the restaurant is known for. Highly recommend for anyone who is craving noodles for lunch and dinner at 8th Avenue.

Words of caution: if you are not into spicy food like me, this is not a place for you. Guess what, my wife does and here we were with two of our kids in tow. Staff was very accommodating, and she gave our kids a plate of fried sweet potato balls on the house. BTW, did I mention my kids couldn’t stomach the hot and spicy food as well. Anyway, as good as a model husband that I was, I was there just for a little bite after work. 麻辣烫, which translates into “tongue-tingling, spicy pot” that was filled with skewers of meats, shrimps, tofu and veg was pretty good. The broth was appetizing. The Thai ice-tea was descent. Coconut pudding was sweet and decadent. Overall, my kids and I was enjoying hanging out with their mom, which was needless to say happy to be there the whole time.
