Quick service with perfect soup taste.I have tried mala tang here and there but the taste is so blend and the ingredients and the soup are like separate and doesn't match e/o but the mala tang at this shop is considered good despite that I wish it'd be spicier. I choose pork intestine as one of the ingredients but could barely find much in it too. Overall taste is good with reasonable price.

I haven’t had the boboji skewers for years and loved what I got here. Just spicy and numbing enough and very tasty. The menu is extensive and service is great. Very thoughtful and friendly staff.

Ordered takeout. It feels a bit awkward. Special Bobo Chicken. There is also Thai milk tea.

The service is so bad. A slightly fat waiter wearing a hat is in a bad mood. He is not nice to us at all. He who grew up reading Xiaohongshu, I should have known he would never come

Tried Mala Town today for the first time and I enjoyed my experience! The restaurant is nicely decorated, clean, and the menus are extremely easy to read/understand. The prices are fair and the amount of food I got in my customized bowl was great. If you're craving hotpot, a custom noodle bowl can help that craving! We also got the pork soup dumplings. The skin is a bit thick but the pork and soup inside was flavorful and they did give the black vinegar and ginger to accompany it.

Both scallion pancakes and scallion pancakes can be fried. The portion is small and the soup is okay.

The restaurant is very clean and causal place. It is good for hang out with friends. We ordered Petan Tofu and cucumbers. Both are very tasty. Especially sauce are delicious. Also we ordered noodles. There is a menu you can customize noddle, soup and ingredients. Some of them are I have not eaten. It was really fun to challenge something new.If you are not good at spicy food. Don’t worry!! There is a non-spicy soup.

I am hopelessly addicted to their hot and sour fatty beef noodles. I crave them all the time. Don’t feel like cooking? Hot and sour fatty beef noodles. Boyfriend is out of town? Hot and sour fatty beef noodles. I’m about to go out of town and can’t eat hot and sour fatty beef noodles for the next week? I know what I’m having for dinner. My only suggestion would be to add a little more cilantro to them. Everything I’ve ordered from Mala Town is fresh and delicious, and it’s very affordable. Nothing would keep me from ordering the hot and sour fatty beef noodles so I would order them even if they cost a fortune, but the price point is great. I love you, Mala Town.

There is a spicy hot pot restaurant that I often come to. The food is pretty good. The service from the guys and girls there is pretty good. They will bring tissues and water to the table. The price is a bit expensive, but luckily there is a discount for students. Come in the evening and there are a lot of seats. Now that you are over 30, you can still get it. There are free kelp shreds ➡️Recommend the brown sugar glutinous rice cake (the Thai style is a bit sweet)

I used to love this place a lot, but tonight the employees right there are very rude and with bad attitude, so I think I won’t go to this place

Wanted to try this place out because of its name, assuming it specializes in all things mala. Not busy at all when we went so service was fast. We ordered the signature mala noodles with their signature spicy broth (you can pick the tomato broth if you prefer non spicy). I get choice of 4 ingredients to add so I picked beef balls, pork intestines, sliced fish and I forgot the 4th ingredient. Veggies like cabbage, tofu and seaweed are included already. We also ordered the Szechuan style wontons and Szechuan cold noodles. They give complimentary spicy seaweed as an appetizer. I was thrown off at first then started to enjoy the umami taste of the seaweed. The mala noodles was disappointing, considering it's supposed to be their signature dish. I've had better spicy noodles elsewhere -- nothing special. The cold noodles portion was small and only OK. I probably like the Szechuan wontons the most. Overall, the food was only OK, nothing special. I would come back to try their skewers though.
