I came here one night to eat dinner without a reservation. They had at least 15 empty tables and 15 open seats by the bar and they told me for whatever reason that I cannot sit down absolutely disgusting and horrendous never come here. The service is horrible.

I'm incredibly disappointed and concerned about the way this restaurant operates. The level of noise and public drunkenness they tolerate on Thursdays is frankly unacceptable and a complete slap in the face to their neighbors. The music is obnoxiously loud, but what's far worse is the constant screaming and arguments that go on outside until the early morning hours. On more than one occasion, the noise has sounded genuinely dangerous-like someone was being hurt. The complete lack of concern from the management is infuriating. This isn't just a bad night out; it's a public nuisance and a safety hazard.
I have been to Malka several times since their Dumbo location opened and each experience was amazing. The food is fresh and delicious, and the atmosphere warm and welcoming. Good vibes all around -- highly recommend whether you're going out just for drinks or a whole meal.

Dinner malka in dumbo was absolutely amazing! Each dish that came out was so authentic and had such amazing flavors.
The service was unreal shout out to our waiter Adir , it just felt like I was back in Israel but in a way also eating with family. I highly recommend going there!

Amazing Kosher restaurant in Dumbo - our server Adir was incredible at explaining the entire menu and making the best recommendations. The green beans and hummus are so simple but definite favorites. The wine selection is also amazing. Will definitely be back!

Went to Malka for a girls night out. The restaurant is beautiful, both cozy and chic at the same time. The service was excellent. We were attended by two great servers, Adir and Dan. Adir was patient with us, answering all of our menu questions and helping us decide what to order. He was comfortable and at ease and never made us feel like we were chaotic (though we were!). Dan was hilarious and playful, making us laugh and also bearing with us as we made our dessert choices! We ordered the green beans, yellowtail sashimi, mushroom pasta, schnitzel, and entrecôte skewers with mashed potatoes. We topped it all off with the chocolate mousse and berry tart. Would order everything again— though I think we may have overdone it with the mashed potatoes (since the schnitzel came with it too). Overall, wonderful experience. Will definitely be coming back!
