I asked for my salmon to be cooked medium rare. The center of the salmon was completely raw. The potato crust was lovely and the mashed potatoes were creamy. I let the waiter know about the raw salmon. He offered to take it back to the kitchen to have it put back on the stove. I politely declined. Then he asked if I wanted to take my entree home. I was a bit dismayed by that question. Why would I want to take a raw piece of salmon home from a restaurant? I'm going to a restaurant so I don't have to cook at home. Overall the dining experience was mediocre. Bathrooms were clean which was nice.
This is an old timey steak house in Bay Ridge at the site of the old Embers Steak House. Much of the ambiance remains and the feel is like walking back in time a decade or two. The service is wonderful, the bartender is friendly and talkative. She makes a mean old fashion! The wait staff are never intrusive but also never far from your table. My only complaint is that my medium rare filet mignon was dry. Hard to mess up a filet but next time (and, yes, there will certainly be a next time because this place absolutely deserves a second chance) I will order my steak rare and adjust from there. This may have been a regional variation on the interpretation of medium rare and I'm more than willing to try again—if for nothing else than to enjoy the service again!
Party of 5 for dinner. Great service. Happy with food. Generous portions. Decent drinks. Noise level allows for conversation. Un-rushed, relaxed dining. My 15th reservation at Maolone's, and looking forward to my next meal there.
We enjoyed our delicious food and the good service! The ambience was very nice with the exception of the table in back of us that was loud.
Food GREAT Steakhouse Ambience LACKING Music was 80's Rock Soundtrack Appropriate for bar area. Low key Sinatra or instrumental would have been spectacular
Great staff so kind and accommodating to a food allergy Great food. Very delicious Fun night out
The steak was cooked to perfection and just the right temperature. The onion straw and chips were delicious. The dessert of Peach Melba and Afagato was delicious. The waiter and service was wonderful as well. Will definitely be back in the future
This was my fifth time back. I had the Short Rib Egg Roll, the Dijon Shrimp, lamb chops and double fudge oreo cake. I could not be more happier. The dinner and service were perfect. I will definitely be going back soon. You should as well.
I loved & enjoyed my evening. I 100 % I recommend Malone's In Bay Ridge , Brooklyn every place is costly & this place was Awesome ! 🙂
From the start, we had a waiter named JD and he was very personable. He was on top of everything and made sure everything was great. The food was delicious. We all ate apps, entrees, dessert with coffees as well as drinks from the bar. I would recommend this place to anyone.

This place is perfect for a quick lunch! The Malones hamburger is unlike anything you've ever had..!
They were over booked and after being seated it took about a hour and a half to get my food which I had to get pork chops because they ran out of steak. My wife never received her meal until we was ready to leave. One of the worst dinning experience I ever had.
FOOD WAS GREAT. PORTIONS ARE NICE SIZE EVERY PERSON WORKING AT MALONES DID THEIR JOB ABOVE AND BEYOND, WENT WQITH MY FAMILY FOR THANKSGIVING. MY WIFE AND KIDS ENJOYED MALONES.
Another great experience at Malone's Chop House.....the food was incredible....steaks are as good or better than all of the "famous" steak houses....and our server, Dominick, was incredible as usual....everything impeccably presented and served!! Can't wait to go back!!!
We finally got around to trying this place this past weekend and I personally would not recommend, specially given the price point! I think it's pricier than most steak spots in Bay Ridge for the level of service and food it offers.
We ordered the Filet Mignon and the Bone-in NY Strip, both cuts came plated over a bed/pool of olive oil which is bizarre.. I've never had steak served on a bed of olive oil.. it soaked up in the steak was just unnecessary, took away from the actual cut (the filet mignon was cooked well but the NY strip was pretty chewy.
The service was very rushed, they had just put down the bread when someone appeared and asked if we were done even though it was barely touched. We both still had a pretty decent amount of wine in our glasses when they waiter asked if we wanted another round.. it all felt quick.
Our bill was around 200$ and we left pretty disappointed--but again, they lost me once that steak came served over olive oil!
