This place was amazing! The meal started out with a chicken and turnip soup that not only was delicious but made me feel so loved like it was made by my own grandmother!!!! You remember that final scene in ratatouille where the food is good good it makes the villain remember his childhood? Thats how good it was!!

Not only does the food feel like home, Mama Lee herself feels like the auntie you didn't know you needed, hiding in corporatized Williamsburg this whole time. I adore her and her food, whether I'm stopping by to eat alone or bringing my family.

I respect the hustle but very very overpriced for same level and quality of a mid place in Flushing. I am not sure how these ratings are so high. 4 items will easily run you over $100 no drinks nothing. Not exceptionally delicious or large portions. We did not receive complimentary chicken soup. Only one table did. We didn’t even get napkins the whole meal - service is chaotic. Recommend letting this rating sizzle out a bit - very off.

Mama Lee was absolutely phenomenal. The level of service feels like you're visiting your best friend's parent's house and their mom is attentively taking care of you. Mama Lee packed some of our food to go in the cutest, well portioned out bento box. The pork chops and the chicken soup were to-die-for. Seriously a gem.
Best beef noodle soup I've had (aside from my own mom's of course). Mama Lee was serving and taking care of everyone. It felt like eating at a relative's home. Will come back to try more dishes.

I love this place. The lady who runs this establish (and I assume is also the Chef) is incredibly kind and goes out of her way to make patrons feel comfortable and cared for. I came in with a big box I needed to drop off down the street after lunch, and she went out of her way to give me extra take-out bags modified to help me carry it around. She also topped off my friends leftovers to-go with a little extra.
The Three Cup chicken is one of my favorite things to eat in NYC. It's very slightly sweet, savory and a packed with flavor. I've tried twice to make it at home, but I'm convinced you need a high heat wok to do whatever magic they're doing to it.
The complimentary chicken soup is also one of my favorite things: the root vegetables are tender and infused with chicken flavor. I have no idea how they get the broth so clear, light, but packed with tasty chicken flavor.
Once again: I love this place.
