This restaurant is way too overpriced! No way should a beef noodle soup cost almost 30 bucks when you can get the same—or even better—quality in Queens for half the price. I don’t know what’s going on with this place. I used to like the one in Bayside; the food tasted like home cooking. But the Williamsburg location is just a rip-off—super commercial, and the flavor isn’t authentic at all. It’s typical Brooklyn-style Asian food: all about the look, not the taste. As someone from Taiwan, I don’t recommend this place!

Best spot for Taiwanese comfort food and they are so nice. I had this during the summer and was in the area today and really wanted it but they’re temporarily closed at the moment. Please open soon!!!
We miss you Mama Lee
Yummy Taiwanese food! Ordered the cucumber salad, the fried dumplings, the beef noodle soup, and the fried rice. All of the dishes were excellent!
The service and food were impeccable. I believe it was owner, Mrs. Lee who served us herself. We ordered the Beef Noodle Soup, which was fantastic and the Lou Rou Fan, which was also out of this world.
As someone who’s lived in NYC for 4+ years, the customer service went above and beyond. Toward the end of our service, our server gave us extra beef broth for our soup, tea, and the BEST egg tarts I’ve ever had — free of charge. Definitely, hands down the place to for the best all-around experience for Taiwanese food.
soooo good wowowow
A great home cooked meal. Mama Lee is absolutely lovely and reminded me of coming home to my mom. She gave us a free chicken soup and water bottles on the way out!
Super clean space and great food. Mama Lee was very kind to my girlfriend and I. Definitely would recommend visiting and grabbing a bite to eat!
Such a classic spot with delicious food and lovely service. One of the best places to eat in the whole neighborhood :)
20 dollars for the classic tomato and egg dish is insane and you know it. Unjustifiable and such a rip off.

A fantastic meal, really felt homemade with care. The pork rice cakes and eggplant chicken are 10/10 dishes. Will 10000% be back soon.
Beef noodle soup was excellent. Huge portion, so recommend sharing. Very causal dining experience with great service. Will definitely be going back to try more!

This place was amazing! The meal started out with a chicken and turnip soup that not only was delicious but made me feel so loved like it was made by my own grandmother!!!! You remember that final scene in ratatouille where the food is good good it makes the villain remember his childhood? Thats how good it was!!
