We came here for a work dinner with a group of 20 people, and everything was absolutely incredible from start to finish. The food was insanely good every dish that came out was flavorful, fresh, and beautifully presented. Not a single complaint from anyone at the table, which says a lot with a group this size!
What really made the night stand out (besides the amazing food) was the service. All of the waiters were so kind, patient, and on top of everything. Managing a large group can’t be easy, but they made it look effortless and made us feel genuinely welcome the entire time.
Such a great atmosphere for group dinners, celebrations, or even just a nice night out. We’ll definitely be back!

Wnt to Margez on a recommendation of neighbors. We were 4 hungry adults. Though place was practically empty, they sat us next to the door. Waitress was grossly inexperienced and distracted. Ordered 2 appetizers which she forgot about it, and when main course arrived she insisted to bring the appetizers at which time we declined and warned her not charge for it. The chicken was OK, not great. The beef was hard but chewable, the lamb was rubbery and a piece almost chocked me. As we were still eating they came and took some of the plates away. We enquired about the rush and didn’t get an answer. The whole experience was surreal and expensive. We eat at kosher restaurants in Brooklyn and though understandable not cheap, usually the quality and service justifies the cost. What a flop. One star is highly overrated and too generous. Isaia

AMAZING APPETIZERS! Food 4 ⭐️ Go with a group and order lots of apps. Steaks are good too but lately the prices are just too damn high with the beef shortage. Burgers are very good, slightly thin, and make sure to order Medium RARE. Kanafeh dessert is very tasty. BEWARE - service is awkward. It feels rushed and they dictate how they want your meal to flow, which is the opposite of how the dining experience should feel. They weren’t rude, just somewhat pushy which really wasn’t necessary.

I recently hosted a large event at Margeuz Grill House in Brooklyn for a party of 22 people, and unfortunately it turned out to be one of the most disappointing restaurant experiences I’ve had. We had agreed to a prix fixe menu and confirmed an 8:00 PM reservation. When I arrived, all of the hot food was already placed out on the tables—well before any of the guests had even shown up—and everything was already cold. I approached the manager, Oren, politely and simply asked if the hot dishes could be held back until guests arrived so they wouldn’t be sitting out. His response genuinely shocked me. Instead of addressing the concern professionally, he snapped at me in a rude and dismissive way, insisting that because the reservation was for 8:00, the food had to come out at 8:00, regardless of whether anyone was present. As someone bringing in a large event and a bill in the thousands, the tone and attitude were completely unacceptable. Even members of the waitstaff later came over to apologize for the manager’s behavior, which says a lot about how inappropriate the interaction was. The timing of everything that night was completely off, nothing was served the way we had discussed beforehand, and most disappointing of all, the manager made zero effort to smooth things over after such a rough start. As a business owner myself, I would never speak to a customer that way—especially one being calm and respectful. I’ve had good experiences at this restaurant in the past, which makes this even more unfortunate. But after the way I was treated, especially considering the amount of money we spent, I will not be returning, and I would strongly caution anyone considering hosting a large event here.

While eating our steaks here, we found a piece of metal inside one of the cuts of meat, something that could have caused serious injury if swallowed. We showed it to the manager expecting real concern, or at the very least a proper apology. Instead, his response was basically, “We’ll give you a dessert on the house.” That was it.
When the bill came, we noticed they charged us for two desserts, even though nothing was mentioned about limits. When we asked, they simply said, “Only one dessert is free,” as if they were doing us a favor after serving metal in our food.

Food is good. Seems to be heavily influenced by Israeli cuisine. They had nice instrumental music going which I enjoyed, but it was a bit too loud. Service was nice. Overall good experience. Not too pricey.
