Great atmosphere, amazing service, and delicious food! Tons of gluten free options to choose from and the staff is very accommodating. The gem salad is a must!
Such a delicious meal! Chef Luis and the team are so talented. They also give back by training young adults to become chefs - volunteering their time!
The monk fish is especially delicious, as are their pasta dishes.
Delightful celebratory dinner at Margot. Staff device was seamless & friendly. Small plates is their thing - 4 of us shared 8 items & 3 desserts. Noise level was quite acceptable (& on a Saturday night). Would highly recommend.
Beautiful meal at Margot - I had the market cheese, sausage ragu rigatoni and chocolate cake. All delicious and staff were really attentive and lovely. Walked in around 7, and was seated straight away (x1 pax)
Really love the finesse of the food as well as the service ! Amazing place to go
Love this spot. My go to post BAM movie night date spot. I work in the industry and its refreshing to see a place stay down to earth while providing a high level of wine/food options. keep it up!
Probably got seated at the worst table in the joint, all the way in the back in no-man’s land ie: good luck getting your servers attention. Menu is typical Fort Greene $200 dinner for two with the bare minimum of imagination. ($12 bread anyone?) Waste your 2 bills at Sailor or Strange Delight instead.
Mediocre food. The salad wasn’t evenly dressed and the lettuce wasn’t cold - was also served a core that was too hard/dense to eat. The rigatoni with sausage was not flavorful and the pieces of sausage were weird - needed salt. The lemony pasta looked better but I didn’t try it. The chicken dish looks tragic like the chicken was in pain when cooked with a whole leg sticking straight up stiff from the breast served with a dark sauce. The couple next to me got it and said “it was ok but too sweet”. Chocolate cake was fine. Nothing memorable or too exciting. Service was friendly.
Overall, this is not a quality restaurant in the neighborhood. Having given it a chance on two occasions across two different menus. It feels like it is aging poorly rather than refining into a quality neighborhood restaurant.
Service is a good bit pretentious.
Wine selection needs much love and a serious look at the amount of money being charged for cheap wines. I am all for mark-up on wine in a restaurant. But this is just ridiculous hitting 3-4x.
Food unlike many reviews here is just not there from a flavor standpoint. Grilled pork chop not well seasoned, bland, and tough fattiness. Rigatoni seems to be using a type of sausage of not high quality (would make a doughnut bet it is frozen out of package from a Cisco distributor).
There are so many local establishments to buy the quality ingredients to make an excellent dish or cocktail - just appears this is not the direction of this 'neighborhood restaurant'.
Lastly, there are so many great restaurants in the area that are at a way better price point. Give them a shot.
So glad my friend and I tried this place for dinner last night. Man, the radicchio/escarole salad was so light and delicious—I could eat that everyday! Each bite brought out a new flavor. The squash was also a winner—gorgeous char and tasted hearty, yet light and fresh from the basil. Very well balanced dish. The ribeye was delicious as well. Cooked to a nice medium rare and came out sliced. I prefer to cut my steak myself, but that’s just my personal preference. Good vibes in the space with a noise level that allowed us to have easy conversation without shouting. On top of that, we had a fabulous server and service, in general. I will definitely be back!!

My favorite local spot in Fort Greene - and possibly the city. The space is warm, clean, inviting and impactful. The drinks are fantastic and the menu throughout any season is memorable. Major Margot fan!!
Cute place with wonderful ambience and food! We had the chicories salad, shelling beans and half chicken. All were delicious and helped us warm up and a cold winter day!
🫣👌💕💞
Lovely neighborhood spot for dinner! Loved the market cheese and pear starter, chicory salad, and the ragu. Everything was delicious though and the service was great. Will be back.
Loved our meal- trout was delicious as were salad and pork dishes.
