What a spectacular neighborhood find ... we took a chance on someplace new for us, and came up winners. Not only was the food divine, the service was incredible. We asked to sit on the patio, even though it was a bit of a chilly night, and we're graciously accommodated. When the chill deepened, our servers just as graciously moved us inside. The place is like a jewel from another time. And fabulous pasta dishes, topped off with luxurious desserts. We. Will. Be. Back.

We've lived in the neighborhood for 5 years and never made it here for some reason. Glad we finally decided to go as it was amazing. The food was delicious with generous portions and the staff was very welcoming and friendly. We'll definitely be going back soon.

We celebrated my husband and my son's birthday at Mariela last night. We were greeted warmly, and given a wonderful outdoor table. I like the casual ambiance. Our waitress and our busboy were both absolutely lovely and couldn't be more accommodating. We started with mussels in a garlicky tomato broth; they were cooked to perfection and the broth was delicious. Three of us had pasta, which was homemade and perfect consistency. My son had hangar steak which was also excellent....
