Great place to sit down and chat, use your laptop, and/or eat decent food. Coffee could be better, though.

Great vibe, good prices, I went here to sit down and work for a bit but I would happily go here just for a meal as well

i order from here 1-2 times a week and while it does feel very inconsistent, it is always good.

their omelettes are a great size and come with a size salad and crispy potatoes, but i’m finding that the quality of what i get differs greatly day by day. whoever was working in the kitchen on saturday morning 3/23 made the best omelette, crispiest potatoes, and most well dressed salad!! i really hope that the consistency will come and it’ll be this level of quality each time in the future ?

This cafe was sooo much better when they first opened last year. My biggest problem is their inconsistency, one day the food is good and the next day it’s not. They also have other restaurants in the area and I’m not sure if they switch out their cooks. There have been plenty times when I’ve ordered an omelette and there’s missing ingredients, and instead of letting people know they give a mediocre breakfast. The coffee here is also terrible, it always has an underlying burnt taste.

This place was originally my 2nd option as my 1st ended up to be closed and I've been back to Martha's Pastries and Cafe 2-3x since. I enjoyed everything about my experience! I've ordered a sesame bagel w/ cream cheese, simple yet delicious and a chicken quesadilla; the cheese was slightly different than what i've had before but still really good. I'd get these items again.

Coffee was great, no complaints.

Seems to be a family owned operation and I think they are doing a great job working together in such a difficult time for many businesses. Staff is very warm, thoughtful (they bring water to the table), and accommodating.

Acai bowl is on point however I will prefer more coconut flakes if I'm paying xtra for it. The breakfast sandwiches were good according to my kids. The service was quick and friendly. We didn't have to wait long for our order and everything was correct, so no complaints there. The atmosphere seems peaceful, cozy, and relaxing. Definitely want to come try a meal here for lunch and dinner.

Much like other reviews I tried so hard to like this place. But the quality and accuracy is so inconsistent. Some times I’m left waiting over a half hour for my order. Some of the staff is so nice and friendly but clearly can get overwhelmed very easily as it’s just one person up front. The kitchen seems all over the place like it’s a new cook everyday. The food comes out different every time or just flat out wrong. It seems the owners just think if you throw some things together everything will just work out but obviously that is never the case. Hopefully some more time is invested in training and operations. My advice. Skip this place and just go to a bodega. You’ll get food faster and it will probably be cheaper and better.

I desperately wanted to like this place and simply can’t. I work in the area and used to get my iced lattes here 5 days a week. I’ve had the worst burger in my entire life from this place. A true hockey puck. Sometimes the pastries are fresh, sometime they are far from fresh. You can have a great avocado toast on a Monday and then a horrible one on Thursday. You can have an amazing iced latte on Tuesday and then get a burnt tasteless one on Wednesday.I once asked the server behind the counter how many strips of bacon come with an order. She looked me straight in the eyes, shrugged and said “I don’t know.” I had to request that she check considering I never get the same amount regardless of whether I pay for extra or not.The inconsistency is insane. Hope it improves. Their prices are on the higher end, so you expect better service and consistency.
