DONT WASTE YOUR TIME. The Only reason im giving 1 star is because of the woman behind the counter. ALL THE FOOD I GOT IS RIDICULOUSLY SALTY. Its looks good but save yourself. I spent almost 70 on food and I am eating none of it. Meatloaf SALTY AF, mac and cheese NO FLAVOR, mashed potatoes TOO MUCH GARLIC, BAKED ZITI TOO MUCH SUGAR. Omg . Im so upset i wasted my money and since i know i cant get a refund. This was my next best idea.

Simply delicious! Fish is cooked any way you like to order, so it is always fresh and juicy. Other favorites - banana pudding and fried plantain.

The service was very welcoming ,I was served by Rasheeda on empre blvd . The food was so good and flavorful I was truly impressed Mac n cheese taste like it came outta my own oven .

I must say the food is great. The wait is long for seafood only cause it’s made to order but overall great soul food. I met a really nice cashier that serviced me I don’t know her name but I came yesterday Wednesday afternoon right after work and was having a bad day but this young lady changed my whole vibe. The receipt said cashier name was lucky- how lucky was I to get her for a service. Today I went there for catfish n chips and I asked her name and she said it was rashida. Thank you rashida for being colorful and having a vibe. I recommend the restaurant and plus they wear mask & wash hands repeatedly.

The food is dangerously delicious!! And I say it that way because I need to be mindful of my waistline because the food is so good! The only dish I didn't care much for was the fried chicken honestly; it seemed to lack flavor. However all of the other dishes I have tried were out of this world. Finally I found a great soul food restaurant in Brooklyn and I no longer have to make the trek to Harlem.As for the young lady behind the counter, I received nothing but warmth and a smile from her; even with my first visit. Not sure where the rude comments are coming from but that is just my experience. And to add to her kindness, the first time I went I intended to buy a juice but left it on the counter. Second time I went I brought 2 of the juices but she didn't include it with my order. I was pleasantly surprised to see that when I went back the next Saturday, she had my juice in the same bag with the receipt and held it for me in case I was coming back. That kind of customer service goes a long way! I highly recommend this restaurant. Please rethink opening up a spot in Bay Ridge!!

The girl behind the counter was very unpleasant and rude. They didn’t have anything that we asked for. The only two pieces of fried chicken that they had were drumsticks… and they couldn’t sell it to me because it wasn’t a “leg and thigh combo”. She was rude to the other customers. She told a customer to exit the store and that she’s not taking a $2000 fine for his $12 order because he didn’t put his mask on quickly enough. Her comment was completely unprofessional and unwarranted. I was eager to support a new black owned business in the neighborhood but I will never come here again.

Yuk!! Went last night. The server seemed like she had an attitude.. Fried chicken must have been the anti blood pressure special, no flavor at all. The other food looked old and dry. I understand it was near closing but come on. I ran a restaurant for a year and I'll be darn if my food would have been presented like it was... I tried giving it zero stars but couldn't. I saw they were hiring for a cook. I don't blame them. I was tempted to ask if they wanted me to cook.. Black owned business I love
