Absolutely phenomenal experience from start to finish! The sushi was some of the freshest and most flavorful I’ve ever had—each piece was a work of art. The chef clearly takes great pride in both quality and presentation. Every bite melted in my mouth.

What made the evening even more memorable was our server, Edmund. He was warm, knowledgeable, and incredibly attentive without being intrusive. He offered thoughtful recommendations, anticipated our needs before we even had to ask, and made us feel genuinely welcomed. Edmund elevated the entire dining experience—his service was truly top-tier.

From start to finish, our dinner at Masuta was an incredible experience — and the highlight, without a doubt, was Amy. She wasn’t just a server; she was a guide, a vibe-setter, and honestly felt like part of our celebration. Her recommendations were thoughtful and on point (we wouldn’t have tried the toro tartare without her!), and everything she brought out felt curated just for us.

What really stood out was how naturally she connected with our table — like she could read the room, knew when to check in, when to let us enjoy, and how to make us laugh in between. It’s rare to come across someone who blends grace, confidence, and true hospitality the way Amy does. Masuta is lucky to have her, and so were we.

Goh the server is amazing! I’ve been coming to this restaurant for years with family. I recommend it to everyone and bring friends and colleagues here often as well. Goh is always so accommodating!! We love it here!

Honestly, I had a very good experience at this restaurant! The service was quick and Amy, our server was extremely kind and attentive to what my party needed. The food is fairly good but I’d say that the miso soup was a little watery (which is okay, it happens). I would likely come back for the food and atmosphere, although it is a little pricey to eat here.

I live just a two-minute walk from MASUTA Sushi and have dined here for many years, even before the current owner took over. On a few occasions, I opted for delivery, but each time my experience was disappointing. I thought perhaps it was just a one-off incident, so I continued to give them another chance. However, my most recent order far exceeded my expectations, and not in a good way, despite warnings from friends and neighbors who also experienced that!

The Kani salad I received was heated, the crispy tuna rice was a disarray and barely warm, and I won’t even describe the garlic shrimp appetizer. The rolls looked like my morning porridge! All of this came to $80! Overall, it was absolutely awful and inedible! I did reach out to the restaurant and requested a callback, expressing my desire to speak with the management or owner.

I am patiently awaiting their response before my further action with the Better Business Bureau.
