We’ve ordered takeout from here more often than I care to admit since our son was born 7 weeks ago - the food is great, the delivery is fast, and their customer service is excellent. We’re thrilled to have a go to Mexican spot in the area, especially when we’re sleep deprived and pretty incapable of feeding ourselves. Order the salsas, a guava margarita if they have it, and all of the tacos.

Absolutely obsessed with this place for years now. I’ve since moved out of state and make a point of coming back here when I’m in town. I 🩷 MT!

I went into the shop and bought a chicken burrito. There’s a lot of rice and beans in it would say it’s mostly rice and beans. It’s not that the rice and beans are bad but there isn’t any balance between the chicken and the other ingredients which are mostly rice and beans. Dare I saw chipotle is better….

Great, authentic Mexican. Good prices... highly recommended. Not a lot of seating, though.

The reviews were 50/50 so I gave it a try but ended up with disappointment. Grilled steak was dried, charred and flavorless. I had to eat it with my A1 sauce but it was so bitter. It was the most flavorless Mexican food I’ve ever had. Chicken Fajita was okay. Delievery guy didn’t read my direction. This is my first and last time ordering from here.
Just happened to walk by and needed a bathroom. After seeing how incredibly clean everything was I had to order and so happy I did. Absolutely spotless, fresh, fast and the female who runs the place is so nice.

HORRIBLE experience at this restaurant. They tried to serve us cold food that had been sitting for over an hour. Eeek! Watch out for this place.

Chips are thick, delicious and fresh. My carne asada burrito had maybe two bites with meat in it. They forgot my birria taco and any salsa. Partially my bad for not checking before I left since it was pick up. But super disappointing all around except for the chips.

I was over an hour late to pick up my food due to a class going over time. They called but couldn’t reach me for a while. and when I finally arrived and explained the mistake they told me they remade the burrito for me so it’d be fresh. So kind and amazing service.. the food is so so so good I order from here weekly!

Staff are nice and friendly but my $20 burrito was just a tortilla full of rice. Barely any meat or guacamole. I also asked to wet-it for an extra $2.50, where they covered it with a completely bland sauce.
Go to La Taq for better taste and bang for your buck.

Truly fantastic food! The flavors are complex and they take care to make them. The birria taco is to die for.

Love Maya Taqueria, especially the Burritos and the Salsa Bar. A Park Slope staple.
