Food: If you want to make your palate happy, this is a great neighborhood spot. Brunch: The steaks and eggs are well seasoned and always cooked to the requested temperature. Happy Hour: This is my favorite because you can't beat $1.50 for fresh oysters and beer. Service: The servers are attentive, and the bartenders are friendly. I love there is usually a basketball game on the screen. Ambiance: During the weekend, it is busy and can be a bit noisy if you are sitting at a table. I prefer the bar-top tables towards the back because I prefer hearing the people at my table. During the weekdays, it is a quieter and cute place to have a date night or get caught up with friends.

Wonderful brunch spot with delicious American fare. I struggled to choose a dish and ended up with the Cuban. The meat was buttery and tender. Melt in your mouth!

Brunch was delicious.Omelet with some extra addons for 1$ each only is nice!!!Service was good. Dont judge a book by its cover (Im sure some of you live in apartments that look way worse...) cause the outside looks a bit run down, but inside is very nice. Also, cocktails were well balanced. Old fashions, negronis, etc.

This place is very mediocre and the price is ridiculous for its quality and portion size. The cake was good but four tiny pieces which do not even equate to one whole slice of cake is $11 and the ravioli was about 8 pieces and is $25. The cheese on the ravioli tasted cheap and flavorless. I am willing to pay for good food but this fell short.

Thoroughly enjoyed brunch at Mayfield this morning. Shrimp and grits cooked perfectly with just the right amount of sauce/gravy, perfectly seasoned. I was surprised to see collard greens as the side and so delighted that they were also cooked perfectly and seasoned adequately. If you're from the South and looking for comfort food in Brooklyn, look no farther. Cocktails were also great - Bloody Mary, Paloma and Bellini were all enjoyed by our crew. This area of Franklin offers lots of great food and drinks, don't sleep on Mayfield.

The neph and I were there for dinner this evening and we weren't disappointed. The gentleman at the entrance asked if we had a reservation but we didn't.... I thought we'd be turned away but he just smiled and said "follow me!" Whew, what a relief! Service was great, food was delish, ambiance was superb... what is there to critic? We left very happy and stuffed! Will defo come back again! The lady server was oh-so-sweet too! We just didn't catch her name!

The brussel sprouts were banging and all three of our sandwiches were delicious (patty melt, eggplant parm, Cuban).Good for a casual date night!

We went to Mayfield to have a little date night since we haven’t had a one in a good amount of time. we picked two things to share. We ordered Smoked pork spare ribs and Chicken wings.Smoked Pork Spare Ribs: The ribs were well overcooked meaning that they were dry and tough to chew.Chicken Wings: The chicken wings were overcooked as well and had too much salt. I understand that chicken wings are going to have salt on them but not to the point that it’s overpowering any other flavor. The atmosphere and service was definitely enjoyable though.

I’m not sure if they were just having an off night but the food quality was disappointing. We ordered the chicken wings and the pork ribs. Both were smothered in sauces that were really off - overly seasoned and different from when we’ve previously ordered these dishes. The meat was over cooked - like surprisingly over cooked. It was really cold in there - the bathrooms are freezing.Perhaps an off night but one that was a waste of money & time. The service is always nice. I just wish the quality of food was there.

Last night was my first time visiting this place and I will definitely be back! The atmosphere was so warm and inviting. The food was great. We had the fried oysters and wings- delicious. At the end of the night the owner came over and told us not to rush, that we were welcome to stay as long as we needed too. It was just a great experience. Anna was my waitress and they was very attentive and gave me a great suggestion for a white wine. The music was also very great. Definitely pleased with the service and food.
