One of the worst services in Brooklyn. Staff had a bad attitude and spilled food everywhere in the bag.

It is my daughter’s birthday. As sweet as my daughter is, she deserves a mega bowl of shaved ice worthy of thousands of calories. Who cares! A great place to hang out. I am being crowned the best dad ever.

Meet fresh recently changed their menu and now offer Medium and Large sizes for their shaved ice. It's basically a $1 difference between the sizes. My friends and I haven't came in a while and wasn't aware of the change so we thought a medium should be enough. After we ordered, we got an extremely small bowl of shaved ice. I attached a picture of a large round bowl, that was a picture from 2023 and is now the large size that they offer. The other two pictures is what we got today. This small little bowl makes it hard to eat the shaved ice cuz it literally collapsed and we were struggling to make sure it didn't spill. Also because this bowl is deeper, the shaved ice in the bottom have no condensed milk at all, it's just pure ice. I think this change in their menu is practically lying to consumers because the difference between medium and large is crazy even though the price is just $1 different. If they were to make medium this portion, it should be at least $4 cheaper.

Like the other posts said, very expensive water. We ordered the signature Taro balls, 1 Ivy and the other hot. $10 each bowl, very watery and not much items in the bowl, flavor/quality were average. I understand inflation and all, this is still not acceptable. Will not return.

Horrible workers and service. I ordered a mango berry shaved ice and the worker gave a mango shaved ice. When I asked they blamed me and said I said mango, and that I was doing this on purpose to get free stuff. I would have been more than willing to pay the difference in price to add on the strawberries but I was not given that as an option. They straight up said they can’t do anything about it and gave attitude.I also know I said it right because on my receipt it said mango berry but when I showed it to them they took it and made up some excuse. Absolutely terrible service and attitude.

This was probably the most spacious and cleanest restaurant/store on 8th ave from my experience. We tried signature icy taro bowl and the hot almond soup. Loved the icy taro bowl and all the toppings on it. The chewiness balanced out the sweetness. However, I don’t recommend the hot almond soup (or anything with almond soup base). It was not good, and tasted nasty to be frank. We couldn’t even finish it. Not sure if the soup base was just almond milk but it tasted really weird.

It's a strange location inside; the partition between the customer and the food preparers make it appear if it's set up either for COVID or for a bad neighborhood that has experienced robberies. But the drinks are excellent, and although it was too cold for shaved ice, it looked authentic - no need to go to Taipei!!!

I wanted to try a lot of things here but was honestly too afraid to venture out of my comfort zone. They offer a variety of soup like desserts that look like they could be really good. I really like gooey textures & I feel these would be good. I did settle on the safer choice of strawberry shaved ice cream. As expected, the strawberries, condensed milk and vanilla ice cream were delicious. I really wanted to try the mango but they were sold out for the day! The space itself is cute & big enough to enjoy with friends!
