Stopped by Mekelburg’s for lunch one day and got their Pick 2 lunch special. The sandwich options were a little on the interesting side so I ended up going with the meatloaf sandwich and sweet potato fries. I had no idea what to expect for the meatloaf sandwich and was totally expecting the childhood meatloaf I used to eat on some bread with some sort of sauce. What I got was soooo much better! Tried the Jumbo Wings with Buffalo and Barbeque, and both were great. Huge fries portions and friendly staff = 5 stars. Their menu was all over the place, but it kind of made me want to come back for more crazy dishes!
Good service on a late weekend night with the sole bartender handling it all. Had a big group and food came out relatively quick, and I wasn’t expecting it, but probably the best wings I’ve ever had. I’ll definitely be back.
