The restaurant creates dishes that stand out without trying too hard. I couldn't get enough of their food! I thought the staff's performance was excellent. Their kitchen provides quality food in big portions at fair prices. I can't wait to dine here in the future.
Tried this place on a whim. Credit card machine wasn’t working, hand written menus, food’s been stewing for hours. Usain Bolt’s picture framed on the wall next to some plastic plants. This place is absolutely perfect and will remain at the top of my list for a cold evening’s soul food. Protect and patronize at all costs. We got the oxtail and rice with plantains, Mac & cheese, and chicken stew. Perfect heat, fall-off-the-bone (literally plucked a bone from my plate and gravity did the rest) tenderness, and some of the kindest interactions I’ve had with the team working there. Bullseye. Zero notes. Top it off with a bottle of Ting, a plastic fork, and a HUGE smile. Enjoy.

I placed a catering order with Pine & Ginger and confirmed everything in advance, even receiving an invoice and a pickup time. When I arrived at the agreed time, nothing had been prepared — the order wasn’t even started. I ended up leaving empty-handed after relying on their confirmation for feeding a large party of people.
This was really disappointing and unprofessional. Clear communication and reliability are so important in food service, and unfortunately this experience fell short.

Friends and I popped in and were pleasantly greeted by great service, good food, and a perfect environment for us to sit, visit, and eat comfortably. I went back the next day and look forward to visiting again when I'm in the area. This is a neighborhood gem with regulars. Throughly enjoyed the rice and peas, with oxtails and cabbage. Stewed chicken, also, so flavorful.

I am a Hospital employee brought Jerks chicken with rice and beans last week 7.00 pm when I open smell is very bad and I noticed chicken is damaged and smelly . I called the shop and reported and he told me to come and get the money back , I gave the food back and got the money . why he did it . I don't recommend
