The restaurant creates dishes that stand out without trying too hard. I couldn't get enough of their food! I thought the staff's performance was excellent. Their kitchen provides quality food in big portions at fair prices. I can't wait to dine here in the future.
Tried this place on a whim. Credit card machine wasn’t working, hand written menus, food’s been stewing for hours. Usain Bolt’s picture framed on the wall next to some plastic plants. This place is absolutely perfect and will remain at the top of my list for a cold evening’s soul food. Protect and patronize at all costs. Friends and I popped in and were pleasantly greeted by great service, good food, and a perfect environment for us to sit, visit, and eat comfortably. I went back the next day and look forward to visiting again when I'm in the area. This is a neighborhood gem with regulars. Throughly enjoyed the rice and peas, with oxtails and cabbage. Stewed chicken, also, so flavorful.
