Since it was nice I had to do it twice...and David made the second visit even more magical than the first. And the first was already great. Thanks for also taking somw photos for us David! I found this place as I was looking for a place serving clean breakfast food. I ordered the veggie omelet with grits and wheat toast. I asked for salt and pepper assuming the eggs would need it. When I tasted the eggs though...my taste buds exploded with joy. No additional seasoning needed. The staff was attentive and warm. The music added a nice touch. The place is quaint and we'll laid out. Clean. And when I visited the second time, David gave the most outstanding service. This second time was veggie omelet with pancakes and again...awesome flavor. I ask that you visit if you read this whole review. This is the kind of place we want open for years and years.

Today i visited this place, based off my google search. I came during my 30 min break. The bald headed guy (he refused to give a name) that works the counter helped me, when I first came in he brushed me off and gave me an attitude, after having to wait for him to knowledge me, i made the simplest order and i waited 30 +mins for it.
It wasnt until a woman named blossom (owner or manager), realized how long i have been waiting, she asked if my order was placed online, which was annoying, i pointed it out that i made the order with the bald guy.
She offered a refund or the salad because after all of this i still didnt have my order, but at this point my break was over so i allowed them to keep my 20 dollars and their food.
Nice place , service sucked.
Blossom needs to re-hire staff and make sure trains them correctly and herself needs to a lot more aware of whats happening at her restaurant.

This spot is so Mom and Pop in ALL the BEST ways. David took care of us with kindness and generosity. My Mom (a very tough customer ) LOVED her burger and fries and my vegan breakfast burrito was fantastic! David made me “Knockout” Tea: fresh ginger, honey and more potent healthy stuff… so goood! Thank you, David!

Echoing what a lot of other reviews have said here – it's great to have places in the neighborhood with menus like this, but it's not worth enduring the really unpleasant staff.

I don’t know what you’ve been told. But the best gluten free pancakes in nyc can be found HERE! My body forced me into gluten less life 3 years ago and since then I’ve been on the hunt for a gluten free version of my favorite food. After trying everything, including Liehops fluffy pancakes I keep coming back to memes healthy nibbles even though it’s well out of my way. But it’s worth the B44 bus trip. The service was also friendly, and the bathroom was clean
