9/7/2025 Went here with a friend the place was bad but we have eaten at better Mexican restaurants. The food wasn't much to our liking it didn't taste authentic at all the food taste like it was just thrown together not too much flavor and the drinks even though they have a huge selection of drinks it pretty much tasted like juice the presentation of the drink was nice. The waitress was very nice and pleasant. We went on a Sunday afternoon so there wasn't many people there. It wouldnt be on a go to list of ours

Good food and drinks, but be careful when paying
We had dinner at Mezcals and the food was really good ; the shrimp and margaritas were delicious, and the atmosphere was fun and lively.
However, I want to warn others to check your bill carefully. The gratuity was already included, but our server took the itemized receipt that showed it and only brought it back after we asked for it.
The payment slip she gave us still had a blank tip line, and unfortunately, we didn’t notice right away, so we ended up tipping twice.
It’s disappointing because we really enjoyed the food, but this left a bad impression. Make sure to double-check your receipt before adding an extra tip.

Strong and tasty margaritas! Neighborhood style Mexican food. Nothing particularly fancy or cutting edge, but hits the spot every time. And that is exactly what I want in my neighborhood spot. Service is fast, vibes are very casual. All margaritas are straightforward but out of this world. I love getting a picture of the pomegranate margarita, taco salad, nachos, or any veggie combo. The food is cheesy. Yum.

If i could give a 0 star i would. All Waitress with nasty attitude. They thought cause i left early was because i wanted to use the restroom but i went with kids so i thought it wasnt really kid friendly and cause everyone was starring at me. Waitress was like “oh so you came to use the restroom” and laughed with the other waitress. Like what happened with our own people having our backs? Yeah no. Never going back.
Amazing food and drinks with a classic ambiance. Go for the fajitas with guac and extra tortillas. The margarita menu is big add some mezcal for a smoky taste

We were seated right away, and the waiter was very attentive. The decor is definitely kitchy and cute with lights and ornaments hanging everywhere. Made it just before happy hour was over, and they obliged with our bulk order of drinks to accommodate the happy hour price. The food was good. Drinks were great. Nice chill spot for a solo meal, date night, or a group.
