Their food is okay but just don’t use card here. I ordered and was told it would be $1 extra for card which is illegal in NY but I had no other way to pay so I allowed it. I checked my bank statement and they charged me $2 instead. They’re also not very inviting almost as if you’re bothering them.

Stopped in for a quick takeout meal. I went with a steak boritto. The boritto was an okay size for the price. The taste overall was good, but it felt like it was missing something. It came with a small salad, but the dressing was Italian, which was odd for me. The green sauce was very tasty. I'd like to try the tacos next time I go.Parking: No parking out front, bus stop.

Authentic mexican place where the guys go to hang out. Food is ok, but this not a family friendly place after hours. Mostly drinking a few beers and watching mex football.

Amazing food. Huevos rancheros and pollo burrito were so good. Portion sizes are decent as is the price.

OMG. . . I stopped here because I was doing a late job in the area. They did not disappoint. I had some tacos, my helper had a burrito. Everything was amazing. If I were a tourist, this would be the place I would want to stumble upon. It's the perfect off main street, Mexican experience. I even got treated to a beer from one of the guys at the bar. Everyone is super friendly. I think just because I'm black the patrons threw on some hip-hop music to be neighborly. If I lived in the area this would be my hangout spot. I would recommend Mi Barrio to everyone.

Decent place. Make sure you go in the lunch hours and make sure you ask for the lunch specials. The chicken soup is standard. The beef soup is served sometimes. But their stews that they make for lunch is one of the best around.

Excellent food. The staff speaks very little English when I was there, but it isn't much of a hindrance due to the menu having English. No diet coke though. That is my only complaint.
