The food is good but I would be careful eating from here. I just saw workers coughing into their hands and scratching their head. All behind the counter, next to the food. Btw, those are the same people who will fix your plate.
They also change the prices on a whim and are rude when you ask about it. They had a small lunch special plate for around 6/7 dollars. Now, it’s $11.70. For rice and beans? Yeah, ok. 🤦🏾♀️

This place used to be good but the food quality and portions have gone down and prices have gone up. The garlic shrimp now has only 5 shrimp and they are undercooked and taste terrible. The chicharron is made of very little meat and overcooked. They never give garlic sauce with their tostones even if you ask for it. Such a shame what this place has become. I used to love their food.

Today 06/05/2025, I just ate in this restaurant, I decided to eat inside and ordered a table but I left my glasses on the table and I went to the bathroom and when I came back I didn’t find my glasses and nobody saw it even the waiters , please be careful when you visite this place. The food was bad as well. Thank you!
The food was horrible and im Dominican from the bronx i got white rice chicken and beans it all wasnt to the correct temperature this place needs to be shut down immediately i dont know why i went here after reading their reviews. I gave it a chance and it was not what i expected

I’m always ordering from here for 5 years now. NEVER an issue, always fresh and delicious. I wish their Yuca was a little more on the al dente side, it’s pretty soft, but that’s just a preference. They have a customer for life here!

I got sick from eating here, pretty sure it was salmonella. Had the pork ribs and beans, couldn't stop throwing up and stomach was feeling unwell for days. And now I also developed lactose intolerance due to the salmonella infection. DO NOT recommend this place!
