Mikawa is pretty much the same as every other average sushi spot in the area, from decor, service, price, to delivery details…except the fish quality and preparation is definitely several tiers higher than any other comparably priced sushi restaurant. It’s not the best sushi overall (you’ll have to go to legit omakase spots for top-tier), but it is lightyears beyond anything in the price range, so it’s my go to sushi spot.

I had hoped for a more traditional omakase experience at the counter, but they served all the sushi at once, which was a bit disappointing. If you're seeking a more authentic omakase, I wouldn't recommend this place. However, aside from that, I have no complaints. The price and the quality of the food are the best in the area. While there are many sushi restaurants nearby that are quite similar, this one stands out for its freshness, variety of ingredients, and value....
