I catered a twelve person package for delivery to Batchelder Street in Brooklyn on November 29th. The meats were perfect and scrumptuous. Delivery came on time and their service was exceptional. Kudos to Irv and the staff. We had a joyous memorable get-together. I go back a long way with fond memories of Jewish delis, but nothing surpasses Mill Basin deli. They are the last man standing. Better even than Katz' who survives only by their name. What a staple. What a joy. 'Geshmak.'...
Didn’t get my order right. Still tasty, but very overpriced. Pastrami sandwich(not that generous (at Katz, I’m usually satisfied after a half, but I soldier on)), side of chopped liver, dr browns. $46. Insane.
The deli/restaurant is located in the Mill Basin section of Brooklyn. They prepare kosher deli cuisine. I ordered corned beef sliced to order. The corned beef was fresh, tasty and well-prepared. The hot dog with onions was good. They have a variety of soups, sandwiches, salads, burgers and appetizers. The kasha varnishkes and mushroom barley are popular appetizers that I included.
