Great French bakery in Park Slope. Our favorites were the ciabatta caprese sandwich and the Royal dessert. The sandwich was made that much better with caprese bread that had olives in it (which I love) and worked great with smoked Mozzarella cheese, pesto and tomato. We had both, the Mille-feuille and Royal cakes. While the Mille-feuille was very good (with caramelized layers of puff pastry and a rich pastry cream), the Royal was simply divine. This is our bread and pastries spot in the neighborhood. Great quality. There was a new worker today. She made an amazing cortado! 💚 However, one worker cannot deal with the morning rush PLUS clean the toilet, tables and floor so the space remains decent. This is a shame on the owners especially after expanding the place.

One thing I wish they would improve is stop using the plastic (silky) tea bags from Harney and Sons. Especially in hot water, they leech lots of microplastics and chemicals which end up in our bodies and our water supply.
