Had western omelette with home fries and buttered whole wheat toast. I had iced coffee because it's iced coffee. 😁
Mom had LEO.
Sister had spinach and feta? omelette.
Food came fast.

Waiter was efficient. He had a couple of tables on this Valentine's Day.

⭐️ 1 Star — Disrespectful & Unacceptable
I ordered avocado toast and received plain toast with random avocado chunks, tomatoes, and hard-boiled eggs on the side (see photo). That is not avocado toast.
When I called to explain, a man named Larry (who I was told is a manager) completely lost his temper. He spoke to me in a demeaning, sexist way, repeatedly calling me “honey” and “baby.” He refused to give his name when asked.
He told me to return the food for a refund, but in person he was even worse—shoving the menu at me and saying he “doesn’t care” what avocado toast is, even after I showed standard examples. Other staff members told me he fights with them regularly.
The food was bad, but the behavior was worse. I will never return and strongly recommend avoiding Mirage Diner.

The food was good and not as expensive as I expected. The only downside was that the onion rings weren't very good.

I ordered food from here last week and it was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had. The food tasted like dog food, was extremely dry, and absolutely not worth the price. The quality does not match what they’re charging at all. Sadly, this place has really gone downhill.
Great place. Great service.

Christina the cashier is the Best! Jackie who is behind the counter is very good too.
Bernardo the waiter is GREAT!
If you’re looking for a true neighborhood diner, this is it. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a welcoming atmosphere and staff that genuinely cares. The service is attentive without being rushed, and the food is exactly what you want from a great diner — fresh, comforting, and consistently delicious.
Breakfast is always on point, from perfectly cooked eggs to fluffy pancakes and great coffee. Lunch and dinner never disappoint either, with generous portions and classic dishes done right. You can tell this place has been part of the community for years, and it shows in the quality, consistency, and familiar faces.
Clean, comfortable, reliable, and welcoming — this is the kind of diner you come back to again and again. Highly recommended.

The service is absolutely terrible. Mention that they treat delivery workers like they’re not even people and ignore them completely. Add that you stood and waited for your small order for 30 minutes.
And also mention that delivery workers are human beings just like anyone else, so they should come down to earth a little and treat everyone equally.
Since I am unable to reply directly to your message for some reason, I will post my response here.
You state that delivery drivers are politely asked to wait. I am very familiar with delivery procedures, as I have been working in this field for several years, and so far, your establishment is the only place where I have experienced such an issue.
What you described did not happen in my case. I was told that my order was “in progress.” I replied that it was fine and that I would wait. After about 10 minutes, I asked the host again if there were any updates. I was told, “they’re packing it up,” and after that, I continued waiting without any further communication.
Another 10 minutes passed. During this time, other delivery drivers arrived and were immediately handed their orders, while I had already been waiting for 20 minutes. Only then did it turn out that my order is not in progress but it has not even been printed yet.
I could understand a long wait if the order were large, but it consisted of a simple eggs dish and a burger. After being told “they’re packing it up,” another 10 minutes passed. When I tried asking staff members who were walking by for any information, I was completely ignored.
You also mention that “this review does not reflect your service to dine-in guests or your treatment of people.” However, as a delivery partner representing Grubhub, I am delivering food to YOUR customers—people who, for various reasons, could not come in person. These are still your guests, and how delivery partners are treated is directly connected to your overall service and customer experience.Your not only making me wait 30 minutes for no reason, but them too.
This is not about procedures. It is about communication, fairness, and basic respect.

poor service treated me like an animal, went in to get some food and when asked about the easiest things to serve got met with a barrage of angry questions and shouts

This diner took care of me when I had food poisoning and even helped me switch my order to get what I wanted but with some potatoes to help me recover, they are the best. The food is always the best and they are very considerate thoughtful people.
