Miriam Restaurant Reviews
I cannot say enough good things about my experience at this restaurant. The food was spectacular. I will dream about it. Service was prompt and polite. Best middle eastern food I have had in a long time. If you are in the area, you must stop by. It’s worth it!
I’m very disappointed with our recent experience at this restaurant. We made a reservation for 10:45, specifically to secure a decent table for my elderly mother, who struggles with mobility. However, we were seated right next to the entrance, which was extremely drafty and uncomfortable.
When we politely asked the waiter if we could move, he checked with the host, who looked at us, sneered, and dismissively said no. This was shocking, especially since we could see several...read full review
We ordered a three dip appetizer of labne, tahini and tomato. The labne and tahini had no taste and the tomato had a bite suggesting that it may have been rotten. Miriam Restaurant is a cozy, no-frills Israeli eatery that exceeds expectations. The menu offers a variety of delicious small plates to share, such as the Dip Plate featuring labneh, falafel served on pita chips, roasted squash, vegan stuffed pepper, and Brussels sprouts. For dessert, the Cast Iron Date Cake and Kanafe are standouts. The atmosphere inside is really nice, with attentive and friendly servers who provide good service. The food is fresh, flavorful, and served in generous portions that are worth the price. The main dishes are in the $30-50 range, and appetizers are $20-30, making it a good value especially when shared. The lamb shawarma bowl is highly recommended and very delicious. The cozy ambiance is comfortable and not too cramped, making it a great spot for dinner before a concert or casual gathering with friends. It is also a welcoming place for those seeking vegetarian and gluten-free options. The restaurant has a friendly environment that reminds some customers of home, and the staff, including the chef and owner, contribute to the pleasant experience.
