Discovered this grab and go window that was kind of hidden due to nearby constructions and we really enjoyed the hojicha we got, one of the best we’ve had in New York. Will definitely be back to try the drinks and food one day!

A very special and intentional space. Highly recommend for a unique experience. Food was great and Fumio the owner was attentive to our needs. Definitely get the banana milk drink. It’s delish!

Homemade, authentic food that’s modern. Food was phenomenal, we had the the tofu and mushrooms and the salmon small plates. It was so good, salmon was surprisingly not fishy and the condiments were fabulous. The sake slushies were amazing too! It’s the perfect date spot! Small, insanely clean and very comfortable. I absolutely loved this place and will be back a thousand times!

Wonderful spot. Especially for a very intimate date. The jazz was fun, the service was great they leave you alone and allow you intimacy and space. I am still dreaming about the hot chocolates (we tried the ginger and matcha ones). The salmon was

We just hosted an art + music birthday party here and everything about Mirror Tea House made it a great experience. Food and drinks were so tasty, the space was so conducive to guests sharing their art and music, and fumio was accommodating and excellent to work with. We’ve been coming here since the pandemic and so happy to have made this party happen. Plus you get to take your shoes off when you come inside

We got the tofu and mushroom main dish and it was incredible. Cannot recommend highly enough. The owner is so kind too and called us after we picked up the food to let us know that the sauce we had was vegan. Such fresh vegetables prepared in an inspired way. Love this food!!

Decided to grab some tea here, and I'm so glad I did. The hojicha latte and spicy hot chocolate were delicious, but the rest of the menu really captured my attention - sake everything! I'm eager to go back and try all of the interesting sake teas and cocktails they have to offer.

The banana hojicha drink is delicious! I initially thought it was going to taste like the Korean banana milk drink. It doesn't - but still tastes good! The food also tastes very nutritious and healthy, but yummy! The rice unexpectedly was the best part of the dish lol. I also recommend getting the mochi appetizer too because those were pretty fun to try. We had two dogs so we couldn't go inside but when I went in to use the bathroom, the interior looks very artsy. There are only two tables for outdoors so it's pretty small. Not recommended for big groups.

Excellent and quality food. It is an artistic space with a great atmosphere. I enjoyed the background music, and the drinks were superb. The service was great.

Came to Mirror tea house for a relaxing dinner experience and that was exactly what I got! My favorite part was the ambiance: very few tables, sophisticated but relaxed vibe, and soft music that made it easy to talk. The food was also delicious- my favorite were the avocado bites and the salmon entreé. The entreés are very abundant and can be shared between two people (plus a starter). The tea and the sake cocktails were fabulous. Be prepared to come with patience since there is a single server so things can take a while. That said, service was great. I know people who have walked in but I would definetly recommend you reserve before you come for dinner, luckily I was able to make one only a few hours before my meal. 10/10 experience, would come again!

Visited this part of Brooklyn from out of town and was hoping to stumble upon a truly unique eatery while walking the neighborhood. This was it. The sake slushies and tea-infused sakes are potent and unique in flavor. The selection of food and drink is outstanding for such a small place. Other than the attention to detail in the dishes, what really stands out is the ambience. Everything from the menu design to the warm lighting makes you feel that a lot of careful thought has been put into your dining experience.

My husband and I were intrigued with the banana milk drinks so we had to try them. When we got to the cafe, they had a nice outdoor space but had only 2 tables (luckily we got one). There was a sign on the door that said indoor seatings were only for customers who are eating or ordering sake. We ended up choosing the Matcha banana milk and the hojicha banana milk since it was later in the day. Otherwise we would have chosen the cold brew! The hojicha one was good, but because the banana milk/purée was thicker it didn't mix well and I was left with the banana at the end. It worked well because the hojicha is more bitter so they complimented each other. My husband got the matcha, and we felt like it wasn't as good as the hojicha because the matcha had a lighter flavor. Service was good and drinks were unique!
