My friend invited me here the other week to hang out and study and I immediately fell in love with the atmosphere and vibes. Cozy, queer friendly, and easy to hang out or get work done. The patio is super cute! They make great drinks as well and the staff is friendly.

Misfit is a queer friendly place where you can be yourself in a cozy environment. As someone who dislikes bars, this is my favorite bar to spend a day or evening in, or just a quick in and out. Come for yummy drinks, friendly bartenders, good music (which isn't too loud), and fun events (e.g. writing club). I hope it lasts for a long time!

Love this place and the kratom is amazing but the service is atrocious. The girl with the brown bob has an awful attitude . Every time she is bartending she is so unpleasant. Unfortunately, today she was quite rude from the start, which really soured the atmosphere. We were made to feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. After receiving such poor service, we decided not to tip, and instead of understanding, she belittled us. Also her dog being behind the counter is pretty nasty as that’s where all the drinks are being made. Her service alone makes me not want to go back which is a shame because this place is amazing and the other staff is wonderful.

Non alcoholic beverages, couches, music, art everywhere, outside seating and hammocks, craft activities and markets, they have so much cool stuff for the sober community (ofc you don’t need to be sober everyone’s welcome) so all in all just a great place I’m grateful to have in the community.

I had a green Kratom tea and it was quite strong. And I’ve been drinking it down in Florida at one of the 8 million kava bars there (lol) so I have a little tolerance. Shane was very nice. Relaxed atmosphere. ?

This is the best kava bar in New York! I'm from Florida where the kava scene is huge but when i need to be in new york i always make a point to stop by here for a drink. The vibe feels like youre in a living room in a good way, the people are friendly and welcoming, and the staff are knowledgeable and attentive.

Went for the first time yesterday and wound up spending 4 hours, could easily see spending 12. vibes and feeling of coziness is unparalleled. We tried the Solomon blend Kava and it was divine. Everybody is super chill and accepting.
