I had the Signature Pie today at the 5th Avenue fair. Apple, peach and blueberry. Absolutely delicious.
My wife and I have had many banana creme pies. And I would say it is the pie that has the highest hit or miss factor. Either too sweet, too large banana slices, or meh-texture crust. My wife wanted one for her birthday so we rolled the dice and hit Miss American Pie. The banana creme pie we received was what I can only describe as yumtastic. As we are up in years so watching our sugar intake our intention was to only eat a slice a piece. No chance. We were staring at an empty aluminum tin in minutes. Only thing left behind was two huge smiles of satisfaction. The only thing that is sweet about Miss American Pie is the people who work there. They greet you like they are seeing their first customer. Appreciate, gracious, and highly enjoyable to talk with. We will be back soon!

I have had many a pastry at Miss American Pie. The staff are always kind, the pies always hit the spot, and the atmosphere is always so lovely! It’s served as a warm, cozy spot for me to sit and do art for an hour or two at a time and it always smells so good. This 5th Ave location is closing at the end of the month, but I look forward to any future endeavors by the Miss American Pie team!

Really good food with a nice, calm feeling. I am always greeted with (frankly corny) dad jokes and a nice slice of pie.

very decent pie although im not a connoisseur, think im placing it on a pedastal but pretty decent pie, top crust is my fave along with the whipped cream, had the signature pie with multiple fruits and the cold cider all in all good
I ate here with my family earlier today as a pre-dinner snack. We were hungry and needed something small, quick, and sweet that would hold us off until dinner. Admittedly, I am not much of a pie person and usually decline pies when I am offered. However, these pies were absolutely amazing. I shared the double chocolate pecan pie with ice cream with my mother (highly recommend), and my father and sister shared the signature pie which was a fruit pie. The pies were about $7 a piece and we also ordered two teas for I think $3 a piece (I may be a few dollars off). Anyways, it was an overall lovely treat. The inside is 60s diner themed and the workers were so sweet. Our server kept on checking in on us to make sure we were comfortable and best of all, he shared some very cringey (but still funny) dad jokes. Unfortunately, I don't live in NYC and will not be able to eat here as often as I would like to, but I fully recommend this place to anyone that has the opportunity to eat here.

Delicious local spot. I went in the morning for breakfast and had a Bacon, egg and cheese biscuit and it was fresh, hot and tasty.. I also had to try the Signature Pie and it was well worth the calories! The crust was sweet and flaky and the inside of the pie was packed with several different fruits. I feel like this place will become more and more popular. So try it before word gets out and the line is out the door!

Without a doubt in the top 1% of pies I've had. Very friendly guy at the register. Relaxed and unique vibe indoors. The signature pie is indeed spectacular. The Dutch apple walnut crumble was lovely as well. Fruit filling not too sweet and not at all liquid-y, nice and firm chunks, not excessively spiced. Crust was somehow both crispy and chewy. Everything in perfect balance. They know what they're doing here! And they offer reasonably priced baking classes as well ?

Loved everything about my experience here. The signature pie with cream was the best pie I’ve had in recent memory, not overly sweet which is always a relief. The service was great, we had a fun time chatting with the guy who helped us out.

Overall rating: 4.7Cute, classic american diner 70s style for pie. I got the blueberry and strawberry pie (called something?) & vanilla bean ice cream.I wasn’t expecting the place to be kitschy so that was a lovely surprise. The pie itself was good, but there wasn’t anything special about it. I wasn’t overly obsessed. But I did really like the decorations and staff. I think the ice cream was breyers, can’t remember if they claim being homemade. It was a cute experience and thought it can be really popular for families and kids. I recommend giving it a try if you enjoy the whole American vibe.

My wife ordered a pumpkin pie topped with seasonal cut outs and candied cranberries. Went to pick it up during my scheduled time and they told me they called my wife and changed the pick up time. My wife never received a call. I go back later to find out they had it the whole time under my name. Then when my wife opened the box it was a regular pumpkin pie with burnt parts and no cut outs or cranberries. Would not order from here, $60 for a regular slightly burnt pie, not worth it.
