Had plans to get dinner with a friend, and as we read the menu, we decided to walk to another spot. About 5 minutes into our walk, I suggested, 'We have to at least try the new restaurant on the block.' So, we turned around and went back. We were greeted by our server, who was amazing—I wish I had gotten his name. After being given the menu, I ordered a margarita without sugar, and they made it perfectly—seriously, their margaritas are perfect. Our courses came out one by one, each one delicious. The guacamole, despite being a basic menu item for a Mexican restaurant, was insanely fresh and delicious. The Camaron Baja Style Shrimp Tacos were served ceviche style, and the tuna tostada had a flavorful, slightly spicy kick. We almost ordered everything— you can't go wrong here. Our favorite dish was the quesadilla. Can't wait to come back!

We’ve come here a few times, and it gets better with every visit! The pickle pear margarita was outstanding and everything we ordered (guacamole, scallops, and rib eye) were all excellent. Our server, Chris, was super attentive and very helpful with the menu — just overall a fantastic dinner and experience. Looking forward to coming back soon!

I only can say woooww?. From beginning to end, the experience, the service, the food (the food is something that can’t be missed if you’re around greenpoint). What an experiencia! The drinks were amazing and had great variety of cocktails, the servers and the stuff over all were super friendly and nice, me and my date had an amazing time and would definitely recommend and come back to mítica???

The service was amazing ! They didn’t let me have an empty drink the staff was super attentive to me the minute they saw me take the last sip they refilled me! Our waiter went of his way to Make us feel special! We told them it was our anniversary and they took care of everything.Thank you Mystica we will be back!

This is a difficult review to write. I walk by this half empty restaurant everyday since it opened and finally gave it a try.The food was great, drinks were good, but the service was terrible. Service started off ok, they took our orders quickly. Then it went downhill quick.We ordered the short rib sope, scallops and the Chamorro. Drinks were empty between short ribs and scallops arriving. It wasn’t our server who brought the food over, so we were waiting for them to come back to order another drink.After we finished the Chamorro , the server finally showed up to clean the table and left. We were not offered a chance to get another drink or dessert. Even though I wanted more, I did not ask for anything else because of the really poor service.There was only one other table of people in the dining room, so no, they were not busy. The staff was just chatting by the kitchen area for the 17 minutes after my table was cleared.They started cleaning tables and taking the place settings away, that’s when we finally lost it. How are you cleaning empty tables instead of checking in on your one and only table of people? We tried to get the first server we saw to cash us out, but they directed us to our server. Their excuse was they don’t like bothering guests after the food arrives.
