This place is a hidden gem! Amazing service, a wonderfully lit, fresh-feeling atmosphere, and absolutely delicious Japanese food. You can tell they love working here because they put that passion into everything they make. Highly recommend—but let’s keep it our little secret! 🤫

Momo's is the best part about working in the Brooklyn Army Terminal! The food is absolutely amazing and affordable and Chef Yuki is the sweetest person, always greeting people by name and with a smile. Don't miss this!

I'm a food delivery clerk. I'm waiting for my order here. The boss and staff are very enthusiastic. I feel very happy and the service is very good.

Holy wow. What a special spot. I got the vegetable curry, which came with a heap of dreamy fluffy rice, a sliced hard boiled egg, and a generous serving of perfectly spicy and savory vegetable curry. It was the perfect meal for a chilly fall day. I was in heaven. Then a slice of yuzu tart with little peaks of whipped cream. But above all, it was clear from every person who came in that this was a beloved place for everyone. Impeccable vibes and just stellar food. I'll be back as soon as humanly possible!

What an absolute treat. My takeout lunch from Momo Test Kitchen was delicious. I had the salmon bento box and a cookie to go. I look forward to eating here again. Thank you so much!

Delicious Karaage! A bit saltier than I'd like, and the ratio of rice to chicken is too high, but the chicken is cooked perfectly, and that's exceedingly rare at this price point.
Beef onigiri was also delicious, but same critiques: too salty, rice:beef ratio was too high

I love this place! Momo's Test Kitchen is hidden in the Brooklyn Army Terminal Annex but it is well worth the trip.
They serve a small selection of Japanese dishes like sushi, curry, noodles, and they have speciality meals on rotation like sandwiches and rice bowls.
The beauty of Momo's is the food is delicious. I think their sushi is the best in South Brooklyn, very spicy and loaded with rice. Their other dishes like curry and sandwiches are also the epitome of Japanese comfort food.
Prices are good but a little more than other places, but the quality of worth it. They also serve these yuzu drinks that are very delicious and they have an array of dressings and sauces to try.

A quaint but cozy little place. Food is pretty good and priced affordably and the selection is nice. Interior is clean and you are greeted and bid a good day... That's lovely! A nice little place that I think needs more attention!

I passed by this place so many times, but I’m so happy I finally caught it while it was open. I got the salmon bento box, and it was delicious! The sides blew it out of the park, with the lotus root being my favorite. Definitely worth it. The portions are a good size, making this such a gem. Definitely go check it out!

Okay, so New York’s best casual Japanese restaurant is hidden in a old World War I supply building. Stumbled on it while waiting for a ferry and it it was the highlight of my day. gorgeous katsu curry. wish I could have eaten more.
