Momo Test Kitchen is a hidden gem. The food is perfect every time. I recommend the bento box if you want a balanced meal. The sides are so fresh and the tastes are varied. I really enjoyed the eggplant side, the burdock and the seasoned greens. The kaarage is delicious. Really everything on the menu is so good. I feel that if there was more Momo Test Kitchen in the American diet we would all be healthier.
A true hidden gem in Sunset Park. The restaurant is a little hard to find if you don't know where to look, but the food is well worth it. A great selection of Japanese entrees, sides and beverages expertly prepared. The sides change most days, so it is exciting to see what delicious food is on the menu each time you visit. The atmosphere is intimate and inviting and the staff are incredibly kind. Always a pleasure enjoying a meal here or taking it to go.
Excellent! Even better than expected. Cute little store run by a Japanese mom and pop. They were very friendly and happy, greeting me as I came in and left. Food was excellent- cooked with heart, very tasty home cooking and authentic, better than larger restaurants. We had the oyako don, karaage salad, futomaki, potato salad, and chicken katsudon- all were delicious. We will definitely be back and highly recommend.
