Food was good, i got the Coconut Curry Pho, portions were very small, they also put the sprouts, parsley in the dish when it arrives, most Vietnamese restaurants put them on the side. The price did fit portions.

Honestly, it's an expensive spot in the middle of the ghetto which is slowly getting gentrified anyway, but not worth the money for the portions they give

Came here with friends and enjoyed our time. It was decently empty because it was a Monday night and the service wad relagively fast. Lighting is nice, but at one point our eyes started burning, probably from something that was being cooked? It didn't take away from the meal though, which I throroughly enjoyed. I had the Money pho and we also ordered the thai basil popcorn chicken and popcorn shrimp. The drink options were quite limited, the drinks we ordered were full of ice.

My server was kind and patient with my questions. The beef brisket had a nice Smokey flavor, but the surprise chili peppers were not appreciated by my wife. The broth felt quite bland and didn’t truly taste like pho. The seaweed salad had too much filler (carrot & lettuce). Their pork spring rolls were probably the best item we ordered.

The pho has gotten a bit better since we first tried it soon after it opened, but it’s still inexplicably bad. The broth is flat and thinly flavored. What was shocking was how terrible the rice was. It might be the worst rice I’ve ever been served…dry, crusty and so densely packed it was hard to get a spoonful of.

pink neon and dance music set the vibe here. the staff was nice and it seemed pretty well visited. the food was fairly mediocre, i ordered the namesake money pho at the staff recommendation which was missing the garlic crisps and had all of the vegetables including the lime in the hot broth.why would you include a lime which you want to squeeze in your broth? idk maybe that's a thing i haven't previously experienced.the broth was lacking depth and fatty richness that comes from a complex bone broth cooked for hours>days. there were a lot of impurities in the broth which leads me to believe the broth wasn't properly skimmed while being cooked, a labor intensive process. i found the smoked brisket very overwhelming to the delicacy of the pho broth and any sweetness or acid wasn't noticeable.staff was great and maybe i'd come back because of them and the chili sauce was unique, however, the pho seemed to lack a fundamental understanding of asian broths. be bold use anise, garlic, mushrooms, etc.. likely made day of imo.

It's been a few years since we've been back, but I'm reminded why. I tend to believe that Mexican food and Vietnamese food is just not the same in NYC. So, I really try to root(patron) for places selling or honoring Vietnamese culture. So, as much as I want to patron my local Vietnamese spot. The food is just lacking a bit. My impressions would be if you visit a family member late at night. They ask what you want to eat. Then you give them the impossible task of whipping up a pho in 30 mins with the limited ingredients they have. Pho takes a long time to make and to make it well it's not ever cost friendly. So I understand why this pho, doesn't have to be good to survive in this neigh (being the only Vietnamese restaurant in a traditionally non Asian neighborhood). I'm not saying it's bad, it's just quick and easy. If I could take the pho home to remake it. I would add jalapeño, green onion, some ginger and star anise seeds. Yea, the broth to me was a little flat. They add basil and cilantro for herbs, but it's not enough to give any of the rich smell of onion and anise. Also, was little sad they didn't have fresh spring rolls. Only serving fried egg rolls. So, we ordered the basil popcorn chicken. Not bad little nuggets, served with some spicy mayo. I got the money pho, which we now know how I feel about it. My significant other got the curry plate. She enjoyed the curry, the chicken was soft and tasty. The naan bread felt pre made. Not surprising since it's not an Indian restaurant. This (next) morning, she woke up claiming she disposed of the curry already. Typical curry haha. Next time I should try their bun or banh mi. The curry pho looked interesting but I wanted to give the name sake dish another shot. The inside is open and has nice pink ambiance. Quiet place for a nice date.

Very decent pho. Portion size was a bit disappointing. The chicken vermicelli was the best thing we ordered. Potstickers were underwhelming

Stopped by for dinner, and while I appreciate the ambiance and idea, the execution fell short. We sat down and got ourselves water since the one front staff was overwhelmed. They set up the ordering through an app, which was pretty seamless. The food came out promptly. The chicken vermicelli bowl was a bit disappointing, with the chicken seeming to lack seasoning. The beef pho was decent, with a little kick, but the broth lacked the fatty depth. The pork spring rolls were good, but came with an over garlicky sauce. It seemed to be a popular place, but I'm not sure I'd go back since I expected a bit better quality for a fusion Vietnamese/American place.
