The fries and whitening were soggy due to the container not being aired out. The flavor was fine. The fries would’ve been great if they cooked more and crispy. Their tartar is so good. The cornbread wasn’t good. Crumbled so much and the flavor wasn’t anything special. I’d come here if I was going to eat the food fresh from the fryer.

I ordered food from here 2day, I've been since all of 2024, 2day my 2nd cup of lemonade was less than half, either Uber Eats driver drank it, or the resturant didn't care to fill it up, & the last time I ordered fr here, which was like 2 wks ago w/Uber Eats my side order of mac&cheese was missing, now either Uber Eats drivers are messing w/my food & drink or this place is getting careless! I'm giving yall 1 more time, if this happens again, I'm done!

I wanted to like this place I saw an Instagram Pic with a nice piece of Lobster 🦞 I don't eat Lobster 🦞 so I assumed if the Lobster 🦞 L👀KED good, the catfish would be tasty too! 😤 IT WAS NOT. The catfish was small but that wasnt an issue. The issue was that it tasted muddy like it wasn't cleaned properly and on top of that it had a burnt taste to it. Like when u fry too many pieces of fish in the oil and u get the overcooked burnt residue taste from the bottom of the pan. 😩 The cook didn't look happy either which leads me to believe he didn't have a passion to cook the food, thus the terrible results. The soul food looked like it could have been tasty but was very dry and old looking like it was out too long without a cover. I don't think I would drive 15 mins to give this spot another chance. I gave it 2 🌟 bc 1. it is black owned and I am rooting for them. 2. The young lady at the counter was very friendly 😊Outside of that....👎🏾🫤

Ordered through grubhub. The food was gross. The sweet potatoes were raw (crunchy) and unseasoned. The fish portions in both the meal and the sandwich were TINY. Each fish fillet was smaller than a child portion chicken tender. There were 3 tiny scallops that represented 1/4 lb of scallops. The food was salty but unseasoned. Will never order from here again. Should have gotten dressed and gone to BedStuy Fish Fry

I ordered the seafood boil through delivery and it was not seasoned at all evenly or properly. Instead of the spicy seasoning I asked for they gave me a salty, bland, and mushy boil. On top of that, the quality of the service was poor and when I called the restaurant the woman gave me an inappropriate attitude. In addition of the unprofessional call - I had to wait 2 hours for the food while my family and I waited patiently. Furthermore, quality wise, it was not the same as advertised in the picture as one bag of seafood boil came with three shrimps, few pieces of crab, and a few potatoes. I expected to satisfactorily serve my family but that did not happen. We were extremely disappointed with what we received. Personally, would never come here and spend my time and money on again.

Greetings, I visited this restaurant recently and I must say compared to about 2 years ago plenty have changed. All of the employees were respectful and helpful as they trained a new team member. They were honest about the time it would take to make my salmon, and it was delicious.
Parking: It's Church ave...so get in where you fit in.
