This is the areas main “Russian” food store, has been for at least 30 years. Everyone knows each other by name pretty much. it’s very very small, so I can’t see it as a place you’d go out of the way to locate but it has almost everything needed for us living w in walking distance. There is a competitor store up the block that sometimes has some items that mpy doesn’t have in stock, competitor also sells produce so it’s convenient to go to both stores.In this store you can ask the owner if he suggests anything, if anything cool came in etc. they sometimes have stuff from Trader Joe’s brand etc all prices are fair. If anything ever is off w the food you bought let them know, it’s probably something they didn’t notice or know about.
