Best soup dumplings in BK. Chicken and broccoli is also excellent, they didn't overcook the broccoli like everyone else does.
This restaurant proved that sometimes the best places find you. The team outperformed what we thought possible. Their dishes showcase exceptional quality. This place delivers on all fronts. You receive fair exchange for every dollar.
Very good soup dumpling and vegetable dumpling. Wish they stayed open a little later. Place is clean and service is satisfactory.
Expensive for terrible food. Greasy, incorrect flavors, small portions for the price. Quality of the food is terrible. The fried rice was too wet, the chicken from the chicken dish tasted like frozen chicken, the sesame chicken was shaped in “balls” and had so much breading. Better off going to a Chinese take out.
I would always walk pass Mr Bun but never tried it until recently.
The food is pretty decent. I definitely recommend the soup dumplings since that's their specialty and its price is very affordable for what you're getting.
Pork Soup Dumplings (10/10): The skin is thin and it is FULLL of soup. Be wary of breaking the skin while transferring it onto your spoon because one wrong move and all that soup is gone lol
Kungpao Chicken: asked for the non-spicy one and it's drenched in sauce. I was not expecting the Kungpao to have peanuts, or be somewhat sweet but I enjoy the texture and crunch the peanuts add to the dish.
Shredded Pork and Preserved Cabbage: a bit flavorless and skimpy on the meat. I liked that the noodles were somewhat al-dente but everything else about this dish was very mid. My party was also not a fan of this
Overall, the soup dumplings and rice dishes are worth the money. They're delicious and well-made. I think it's best to skip out on the noodle dishes— but maybe it deserves another chance.
The best hot and sour soup I’ve ever had! The fried pork buns are also must-have.
Kid-friendliness: Friendly vibe with anime characters

I love Shang hi style. This is top tier Shang hi style. Mr bun says they have the best soup dumplings. I’m not an expert on soup dumplings but I do have my favorites. I think how far I have to go is a factor but the whole time I was in here, really enjoying some soup dumplings and stir fried udon, I was thinking “ what IS the best soup dumpling?”.
The soup dumplings were top tier. I wish they were not in Bensonhurst. If they were closer to me, I would be there all the time. To be fair the closest Shang hi spot to me w soup dumplings and stir fried udon is still 30 min away. But I would go to Mr Bun over the next spot.
If you haven’t been to MR bun, go.

The first time I tried Mr. Bun was when my sister brought their soup dumplings over to our house last year, and we enjoyed it. We noticed on their menu that they also have fried rice cake. On New Year's Day, my family and I decided to order House Special Fried Rice Cake, Shrimp Udon, Sticky Rice Shumai, and Beef with Scallions. Everything was incredibly tasty. I always have to go to Chinatown to eat Shanghai rice cake, and I am glad to find a Shanghai restaurant that serves them in Brooklyn as well.

Horrible service. This food is mediocre at best. Dirty plates, and the restaurant is not apologetic at all! They constantly rolled their eyes at you. And if I can I want to give this place a 0 star.

The place had a warm, comfortable fun feel about it, and the service was amazing! I asked the waiter " Whats good?" And he didn't disappoint! I got the scallion beef (delicious) and some of the best soup dumplings I have had in a long time! Pork soup and the crab meat and pork dumplings- DELICIOUS!
I plan on coming back very soon. This place is definitely on point!

Everything here is fantastic! My recommendations are the bok choy, spicy eggplant, fried pork buns. The restaurant made an exception for our party and let us dine-in when they were closing! We begged them bc it was my friend's birthday...so good here.
