I really wanted to support and enjoy this spot especially since it is black owned (to my knowledge) and operated by black women. Unfortunately one such operator, Robin, lacks the personality and respect required to interact and service her customers and is probably the reason Mr.Lees is not thriving the way it should be. I have brought friends in there on a number of occasions and patronized the bar. I even offered to provide entertainment services to help bring in greater crowds who would have really enjoyed the space and backyard. Those plans have been successfully thwarted by Robin after she kicked me and my 3 friends out of Mr. Lee’s recently. After my friends patronized the bar, we sat in the backyard discussing how cool it would be to rent out the space for an event. My friend realized he had an empty vodka nip (mini bottle) in his pocket and intended on throwing it in the garbage when we left so he placed it on the table (it was a careless error on his part). Robin came all the way from behind the bar to the backyard and accused us of bringing liquor into the bar and that we should know better. Without taking the time out to hear an explanation, she told all of us to leave. This was a form of collective punishment for one person’s careless mistake. I’ll let you decide whether you think this was an extreme reaction or if it was appropriate. As far as I'm concerned, this explains why the place barely has 5 people hanging out there on most days. Robin is the problem. She is not a people person and has a negative disposition.

Visited from Las Vegas and decided to visit this place recommended by a local and I am so glad we decided to go. This place is a whole vibe. They had a live DJ who knew what he was doing and made sure he had us jamming along with his tunes. He was great! Our bartended Tony was, to say the least outstanding! He immediately greeted us when we walked in the door and was engaging in conversation with us the entire night. He was friendly, in a great mood, and smiling the entire time! I would personally just visit this this place JUST for Tony.Mr. Less, the gem with no name on the building, no menu, ton of board games, good vibes, great music, and great customer service. If you’re looking with a homey spot with a vibe, I definitely recommend this place. I can feel how much pride Tony takes into caring for this joint and making sure all his customer are happy. Thank you Tony!!

Went here with some friends after a basketball game and LOVE this place. It’s intimate but spacious enough,the drinks are tasty and strong. It has a jukebox and the cutest patio area in the back. It’s your perfect lesbian neighborhood bar OR just neighborhood bar. I wished i lived closer so that i could stop in more often. They don’t sell food but I got some chinese food a few doors down. The wings were great after a few drinks
